More Mother/Daughter Inspiration with Betsy Veldman

May 8, 2013

This week we are featuring a few mother/daughter projects in honor of all of the great moms out there and Mother's Day.  Today I am thrilled to have the very talented Betsy Veldman and her daughter with us sharing this sweet project that they made together.

Betsy's daughter made this dolly jammie shirt and created an iron-on using our Funky Monkey stamp set.  Look at that sewing and stamping.....someone doesn't fall far from the tree.  I must say I love that she chose green animal print fabric for the bottoms.  Very fitting for a funky monkey! ;)

Betsy told me that whenever her daughter gets invited to a birthday party, if her friend has an American Girl doll, they almost always create an outfit for her and Betsy makes a coordinating card (check out those monkey party hats!).  What lucky girls.  I know that my daughters would LOVE to receive a gift like this!

I must thank Betsy and her daughter for guest designing for us during our Mother/Daughter inspiration week.  It has been a pleasure and a treat to have them with us!  Be sure to stop by Betsy's blog for more details on their fabulous project.

Supplies:
Dolly shirt - Funky Monkey clear photopolymer stamp set
Card - Funky Monkey clear photopolymer stamp set, Celebrate clear photopolymer stamp set

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great day!
