September 30, 2014

It's Add A Little Dazzle and Avery Elle week!  This week the Avery Elle design team is playing with some amazing metal sheets from Add A Little Dazzle.  These sheets work great with our clear stamps and Elle-ments dies and come in an amazing array of colors!  After visiting here, be sure to check out the Add A Little Dazzle blog for even more inspiration!  Be sure to comment on our company and the designer blogs throughout to week to be entered to win one of two prizes - a $30 Avery Elle Gift Certificate or a prize from Add A Little Dazzle!  Winners will be announced on Monday, October 6th.

Kasia Curry created this adorable tag using our Circle Tag die and Boo stamps & dies.  She cut the spider web out of Add A Little Dazzle's Black Diamond Metal Sheet.  These metal sheets are so unique and add a perfect amount of texture, dimension and shine.  The colors and layers are fabulous!

Chunyuan Wu created this next card using the label die from our Finished Frames die set and images from our Boo stamp and die set. I love way the metal sheets give a sheen to the Brushed Copper moon and Wonderous White spider web.  They look great against the vellum ghosts and sentiment.

Caryn Davies created this spooky card using our Boo and Avery Alpha's Die sets and an Add A Little Dazzle Black Diamond Metal Sheet.  I love the texture, dimension and shine that the metal sheet die cuts give to the card!

Yainea created this card by stamping and embossing a sentiment from our Joy To The World stamp set onto a strip of Add A Little Dazzle's Scarlet Red Metal Sheet.  The metal sheets are so easy to cut with a paper trimmer and our dies!  I love the way Yainea used the smaller dies from our Finished Frames die set to create some metallic sequin-like accents to the card front as well.  They are the perfect compliment to the Circle Tag and Noel die cuts.  I just love all of the textures and layering!

Inspiration from JJ & Heather

Hello!  Today I have two fabulous projects to share with you.  JJ Bolton used our Seasonal Sentiments stamp set and Cheers Wine Tag Die to create these cute gift card holders!  Who knew that by scoring and folding the bottom of the wine tag up that it could be used in this way?!  JJ's creativity is just brilliant!!  These are so simple, pretty and easy to create!

Heather Campbell created this next card using our Boo stamp and die set and patterned paper from our The Everyday Collection Paper pad.  I love the mix of black, grey and white patterns.  It is so cute!

Inspiration from Yainea and Maska!

September 24, 2014

Happy Wednesday!  I am thrilled to share two AMAZING cards with you today.  Yainea created this first card using our Joy To The World stamp set and Finished Frames die set.  I love how she used the Santa Claus is coming to town circle as a moon!  It is brilliant!  Santa and his reindeer look so cute flying in the sky above the city.  I just adore every single thing about this card!

Coming to Town

Maska used our Be Jolly stamp and die set, Circle Tag and Noel dies to create this next card.  I love all of the layers and texture that Maska includes in each project.  It is so fun to look at all of the tiny details!

Inspiration from Kasia and Chunyuan

September 23, 2014

Hello!  I hope that you are all having a fabulous day so far.  Today I have some inspiration from Kasia and Chunyuan to share with you.  Kasia used our Noel stamp set to create this bold and modern holiday card.  I love how clean and simple it is.  I can see creating this in a lot of different color combinations for quick mass produced cards!

Chunyuan used our North Pole stamp and die set and Finished Frames dies to create this next card.  I like the wash of watercolor behind Santa.  It is such a trendy way to ground the image.

That is all from me for today.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great day!

Season's Greetings!

September 22, 2014

Hello!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Today I have this card by Caryn Davies to share with you.  Caryn used strips of green and red cardstock and adhered them to a piece of paper.  She then ran the entire thing through a die cutting maching using our Season's Greetings Dies.  I love the outcome.  It is so clever and stunning!  Be sure to check out Caryn's blog for more details.

Amazing Inpiration & A Thank You!

September 19, 2014

Happy Friday!  I hope that everyone had a fantastic week!  Today I have two AMAZING projects to share with you.  Check them out!  Katie Gehring used our Fabulous Florals and Noel stamp sets to stamp this gorgeous scene onto a mat from our Finished Frames die.  I love the color combination and layout!  It is so fabulous, I could gaze at this all day long!!

Katie used the same Fabulous Florals stamp set and stamped the images onto a die cut from our new Circle Tag Die.  It is SO cute!  I can just imagine this tied up on a pretty gift!

Karolyn Loncon created this next card using our We R Family and We R Family Additions stamp sets along with a tag from our Gift Tags Die Set.  I love how the flowers look next to the fantastic sentiment.  Who new that a heart could be a leaf?!  Brilliant and beautiful!

Today is the last new challenge for our existing AEI♥U challenge team.

I want to thank the challenge design team for all of their amazing inspiration, hard work and talent.  Every single person on this team is just stellar and I am so glad that we were able to work with them for the last 6 months.  Thank you Yana, Katie, Donna and Diana!  It has been a true pleasure working with you and seeing your incredible challenge examples each week!  You all rock!  While the new challenge design team will start on October 1st, we still have this last challenge with our current team.  Yay!  Check it out here!

Boo & Season's Greetings

September 18, 2014

Hello!  I have two holiday cards to share with you today.  JJ Bolton stamped the ghost from our Boo clear stamps onto vellum and embossed it.  I love the look it creates.  She used the negative die cut from our We R Family Die to frame the fun images.  I love how the stitches are on the outside of the frame.  A few dark clouds and a vellum moon finish the look.  Amazing as always!

Heather Campbell stamped the trees from our Let It Snow stamp set to create a soft background and added die cuts from our Season's Greetings and Noel Dies on top of it.  She added texture to the bottom of the card using our Finished Frames dies and some twine to finish it off.  I adore this card.  It is so festive!

Inspiration with Maska & Kasia

September 17, 2014

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope that you are all having a great week so far.  Today I have a fantastic page by Maska to share with you.  She used our new Look Up stamp set to create it and I just love everything about it.   The feathers, stars and sentiments look so great together!

Kasia used our Gift Tags Dies and North Pole stamp set to create this adorable gift tag.  It is too too cute! Selectively inking the santa hat so that it only shows the words when stamped is a great way to get even more use out of this fabulous stamp set!

Inspiration From Yainea and Caryn

September 15, 2014

Hello!  I hope that everyone had a great weekend.  Today I have this holiday card by Yainea to share with you.  She embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment from our new Seasonal Sentiments clear stamps onto black cardstock.  By coloring the trees and Christmas word she was able to create some added interest.  I just love this technique and twist on a chalkboard look!

Holiday Inspiration & The Next Challenge Design Team

September 12, 2014

Happy Friday!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I sure am!  Today I have two really cute holiday cards to share with you and a fun announcement.   Katie Gehring created this first card using our Noel stamps and Raspberry, Lemon Grass and Cherry pigment inks.  I just love the look of these pretty snowflakes falling!

Karolyn Loncon created this card using our Boo stamps and dies.  I love the way that she used the Circle Tag as the moon.  So creative!! While the tombstone dies aren't one of ours, they fit so well with the fun images!  I love that!

I am so happy to announce the next term of the AEI♥U Challenge Design Team today as well. We have our existing challenge team with us for a few more weeks and I as so thankful that we get to keep working with them for a bit longer!  The following four ladies are the next team that will be taking over from October through March.  I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us!  Our first AEI♥U Challenge with this new team will take place on October 1st!

Karolyn Loncon

I’m a retired Legal Assistant, married to Garry since 1980, and mom to Amy (newly married to Joe) and Ashley (married to Blake and the mother to my grandsons, Brecken and Brenner.)  I’m blessed to live in Issaquah, Washington in the summer, and Chandler, Arizona in the winter – the best of both worlds!  I love all things paper crafting, but especially stamping and card-making.  I love to laugh, shop, travel, and play BINGO (don’t judge!  LOL)  I would describe my personal crafting style as a mix of clean and simple, graphic, and a bit of fun and cute thrown in for good measure.

 Lorraine Marasigan

My love for paper and crafting began when my sister took me to a rubber stamp convention over 20 years ago.  Since then I’ve explored the arts of cardmaking, scrapbooking, blogging, and most recently party planning.  Originally from northern California, I now call NYC home.  I work part-time in philanthropy supporting arts and social justice organizations across the country and part-time at a local chocolate shop serving up tasty sweets.  In my spare time, I make, bake, and create all sorts of things from my home in Brooklyn, NY...and my goal is to make sure that love and good wishes go into everything I do.

Heather Hoffman

My name is Heather, and I blog over at Houses Built of Cards. I have been married for 14 years to the man of my dreams, and have two sweet daughters age 11 and almost 10 that I homeschool. I absolutely LOVE making cards – and also enjoy scrapbooking memories of my family. I lived my entire life up until about two years in Northwestern Washington State, and now live in a very small town in Wyoming – although that is about to change. We don’t know exactly when or where we are moving yet, but are sure it will be another great adventure! If you aren’t familiar with my blog name, then let me explain a little! When I started card making, I quickly found that I was making WAY more cards than I could possibly use. Thanks in part to my young daughters and something they both cared deeply for, I decided to direct all the proceeds from the sales of my cards to the building of houses for widows and their children in Burundi, Africa, through a ministry called Sister Connection. Building one house is amazingly just $600!!! I just finished the money portion of my 5th house, and am continuing to work toward a 6th. If you are interested, you can read more about that HERE.

I am super excited to be joining the AEI♥U Challenge team! Starting with the very first time I tried them, I have never failed to be impressed with the incredible quality and perfectly crisp and clear images I get – not to mention the beautiful images, sentiments, and designs!

Lindsay Amrhein

Hi!  My name is Lindsay Amrhein, and you might have seen me around.  I adore making cards, and sharing them on my blog, Note To Self, for going on over 4 years now!  I enjoy many other things besides, like biking, camping, cooking, and soon, farm living!  I am the proud mom of two boys, Jonathan and Dallas, who have an endless daily reserve of energy.  I am wife to the most patient, and loving man a woman could ask for.  I am so glad I am able to provide inspiration for you on the AEI♥U Challenge blog!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town & More

September 10, 2014

Happy Wednesday!  I hope that everyone is having a great week so far.  Today I have this festive page from Maska to share with you.  She used our new Joy To The World stamps and dies on it and I just adore them!  The gold and red color scheme is so festive!  Do you see the gold stars and other die cut accents scattered around the page?  They are from the smaller dies included in our Finished Frames Die Set.  This die set is currently out of stock in our store but will be back within the week.  We had an idea it was going to be popular so we wanted to make sure that we had a large reorder coming soon after the original release.  :)

On another note, did you know that it is Stamptember® over at Simon Says Stamp this month?  They are having a lot of festivities to celebrate and I know that you will find a ton of inspiration and specials over there.  We were so excited to design this exclusive stamp set for them with 100% of the profits from the sales being donated to Operation Write Home.  The stamps are only available for sale during Stamptember® while supplies last so be sure to pick one up if you love it and want to support this amazing cause.

If that wasn't enough, our very own Heather Campbell is on the Simon Says Stamp blog today with a fun project that you won't want to miss.  Here is a little sneak peek.... Hop on over to see the entire project here.
