Loads Of Hugs Week - Day 1

April 25, 2022

Hello crafty friends!!
Amy here today with a card full of sunshine and HUGS.  Being from Kansas, sunflowers are a favorite of mine.  Pairing these flowers with the Loads of Hugs die is perfect to send a card full of sunshine and HUGS to a friend out of state.

I pulled out a previously released set called Sunflowers and Copic colored the blooms.  Once die cut, they were arranged onto a landscape folded card that had a Distress Ink blended panel (die cut with the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments) adhered.  The Loads of Hugs die was done in black cardstock and added with several layers of white cardstock for dimension.  To finish off the card, a few dew drop embellishments were added.

Sunflowers Inspiration - Day 3

April 17, 2020

Hi Everyone! Ashley here today sharing Sunflower stamps! This set is so cheerful! Let's take a look...

To create my card I stamped, colored and die cut two of the sunflower images from the set. Next, I heat embossed the wreath on craft card stock. Then I die cut the wonky circle from Constellation Scene dies to go behind the wreath. I finished the card with one of the sweet sentiments from the set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunflowers Inspiration - Day 2

April 16, 2020

Hello!  Amy here with a bit of SUNSHINE for you.
Being from Kansas, the Sunflowers stamp set was my favorite from this last release.  The fields of sunflowers are truly gorgeous during the late summer.

The sunflowers were Copic colored with:
petals: Y15, Y19, Y35, Y38
centers:  E42, E44, E89
leaves: G24, G46, G94

All the sunflowers and leaves were die cut using the coordinating Sunflowers Elle-ments.  They were added to a backdrop that was done with the Invitation Frame Elle-ments.  I die cut the frame and left it intact except for the middle where I backed the opening with a light blue cardstock.  The sunflowers were arranged and adhered.  For my sentiment, I pulled out an older but favorite set of mine.......Rainbows.  I thought this sentiment was perfect and had the best font for this card.

Sunflowers Inspiration - Day 1

April 15, 2020

Hey, it's Caryn here jumping in with a card using the Sunflowers stamps set.  I have a sister-in-law who LOVES sunflowers.  When I see one it always reminds me of her.  I thought as it was her birthday just a couple of weeks ago it would make the perfect card for her.

I started by die-cutting a panel from white woodgrain cardstock using the Double-Pierced Rectangles die set.  I then cut a strip from kraft cardstock and ran it through the Gemini Jnr using the same die so that the pierced dots would run along with the white panel.
I stamped my sentiment from the Beary Good Friends set onto the kraft panel and tied some twine around it.

I stamped, coloured and die-cut the sunflower image and some leaves and adhered them to the card using foam tape and then finished off with some clear drops from Ellen Hutson.

Gifted Week -Day 1

February 18, 2020

Hey there, Caryn here today with a couple of ideas for using the GIFTED stamp set along with the Party Tags Elle-ments and a few other gorgeous products from the latest release.

I created a wee video to show how this first project came together.  The idea sprang from seeing a big bag of carrot gummies on Amazon, lol!  I had some cone shaped treat bags in my stash, Mermaid Hemp Twine and some gorgeous green silk ribbon I saved from a Christmas gift so thought this would make a sweet Easter or Spring themed gift!

I created a little scene using some images from the Beary Good Friends set and some masking - how cute is that bunny?  As usual I had to give that bunny tail some dimension so I used the Neon Amplify product which puffs up when you heat it (would be great for snow scenes too I think!)

Here's another tag, this time using one of the images from the Sunflowers stamp set and some pretty yellow grosgrain ribbon.

I wanted the heart to sit under the "made with" part of the sentiment so I simply snipped the stamp with a pair of sharp scissors to separate it!
