Day 4 - All Occasion Tags

Tonight is the night! Thank you for all of your kind words and enthusiasm this week.  I read each and every post and am so happy that you are as excited about these sets as I am.  Welcome to day four of Avery Elle’s December/January Release week. Over the next 2 days we will be featuring projects made by our AMAZING design team and two fabulous guest designers. We have 4 new stamp sets that will be available for purchase in our store, www.averyelle.com, tonight (12:00am EST December 5th) . Don’t forget to check the bottom of this post because today is the last day to enter our giveaway to celebrate the festivities. If you have just stumbled upon us, you may want to start back at the beginning of our release week here. Let’s get started.

I am thrilled to introduce our new 4x6” clear photopolymer stamp set called All Occasion Tags that will retail for $15. Our All Occasion Tags 4" x 6" clear photopolymer stamp set is a must have in any stampers collection. Stamp the tag toppers to create beautiful gift tags or accents on a card or scrapbook page - customize their lengths for a perfect size every time. Stamp the sentiment combinations to create the perfect invitation or sentiment.

Sentiment combinations include: Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday To You, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary To You, Happy Mother's Day, Happy Mother's Day To You, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Easter, Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Father's Day, It's A Birthday Celebration, It's An Anniversary Celebration, It's An Easter Celebration, It's A Thanksgiving Celebration, It's A Celebration, It's A Birthday Party, It's An Anniversary Party, It's A Halloween Party, etc.

Striped and Fan Tag Topper images measure: 2 1/4" x 15/16"; Scalloped Tag Topper measures:2 1/4" x 1 3/16"; Happy sentiment measures: 1" x 1/4"; Anniversary sentiment measures: 1 5/8" x 3/8" **This set comes with FREE matching cut files**

JJ used the three tag topper stamps and stamps from our newest Lots of Love set to create this festive card.  I am really digging the grey and pink/red combo used here.  Did you notice that one of the tags coordinates with our Fanfare stamp set?  Click here for more details on JJ’s blog.

I love Kasia’s creative use of the striped tag topper image.  She stamped it back to back and covered up the “holes” with the sentiment banners to create a blocked image.  CUTE!  Be sure to go to her blog for more detail.

Heather used various stamps out of this set to create the perfect sentiment for her birthday card.  Check out the amazing plaid panel that she stamped using the stripes from our Knotty stamp set!!  LOVE!  For more details visit her blog here.

When I created this set, I wanted to fill a void that we had in our collection.  By owning this set you can create a variety of tags or cards for almost every holiday during the year.  I was really pleased that I was able to include not only three different tag possibilities, but a large amount of sentiments as well.  I stamped the tags and added the sentiment, small holly image and numbers from our Warm Wishes and Count On It stamp sets.

We are lucky to have our guest designer, Amber, back with us today.  I love how she used the sentiments in this set to create a festive birthday card.  So pretty.  Be sure to visit her blog here for more information.

Day 3 - Introducing Knotty

December 3, 2012

Wow!  I do believe that we have THE BEST customers around.  Thank you for being so kind this week.  Welcome to day three of Avery Elle’s December/January Release week.  Over the next 3 days we will be featuring projects made by our AMAZING design team and two fabulous guest designers.  We have 4 new stamp sets that will be available for purchase in our store, www.averyelle.com, on December 5th.  Don’t forget to check the bottom of this post for our latest giveaway to celebrate the festivities.  If you have just stumbled upon us, you may want to start back at the beginning of our release week here.  Let’s get started.

I am so thrilled to introduce you to our new 4x6” clear photopolymer stamp set called Knotty that will retail for $15.  Our Knotty 4" x 6" clear photopolymer stamp set is a cute and fun nautical stamp set.  The fresh sentiments and classic images in this set are sure to be used time and again.  The striped border strip measures: 5/8" x 5 5/8"; Compass diameter measures: 1 5/8"; Anchor measures: 1 1/2" x 1 3/4"; Boat measures: 1 1/2" x 1 3/4"; Knot measures: 1 1/4" x 1/2"; Ahoy sentiment measures: 5/8" x 3/8"; You Are My True North sentiment measures: 2 1/8" x 1/4"  **This set has FREE matching cut files**

Kasia used the border strip to create her striped background and I love how it plays off of the plaid in the heart image from our newest Lots of Love set.  For more details on this “cool” card check out her blog here.

Chunyuan used the border strip to create a nautical background.  I love that I have the ability to create “patterned paper” just like this in a rainbow of colors.    The “Let’s Get Knotty” sentiment is a bit cheeky, but I think it is fun.  For more detail and another project, check out Chunyuan’s blog here.

JJ created this cute porthole and anchor card.  I love the color balance and how the white “pops” in this card.  For more details visit JJ’s blog here.

I don’t usually make mini cards, but I enjoyed creating this one.  It is clean and simple and came together quickly.  I thought that this would be cute for my kids to give to their teachers at the end of the school year along with a small token of their appreciation.

Here is another card that I whipped up using the same color scheme.  I will tell you that it took me WAY too long (and a few wrecked card bases) to position the twine rope coming down this simple card.  In the end, I am happy with how it turned out.

We are lucky to have our guest designer, Julie, back with us today.  I think Julie’s use of a metallic brad at the top of the anchor is brilliant.  I am definitely going to have to try that myself.  Be sure to click here to see details on her blog.

I hope that you have enjoyed the projects that you have seen today.  In honor of our Release Week, we will be giving away a $25 gift certificate to our store.  To be entered to win let us know your thoughts about our Knotty stamp set on this post.

Day 2 – Fun with Letters, Tip & Idea Sheets, and Stamp Storage

December 2, 2012

Hello everyone!   I am so happy that you like what you saw yesterday! Welcome to day two of Avery Elle’s December/January Release week.  Over the next 4 days we will be featuring projects made by our AMAZING design team and two fabulous guest designers.

I am excited to introduce our new 4x6” clear photopolymer stamp set called Fun With Letters that will retail for $15.  Our Fun With Letters stamp set is sure to be a staple in any stamper's collection.  The stamps in this set contain a base that make them easy to line up and make custom words when stamped.  Stamp the letters in the game board provided to create fun messages.  The letter images measure on average: 1/4" x 3/8"; Game Board measures: 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

I loved how Kasia created tiled letters on her card.  Kasia shows how you can use these fun game pieces to spell out whatever message you wish.  So fun!

Chunyuan created her own sentiment using the letters and grid image included in the set.  I “love” her ombre stamping as well.  Sweet!!  Check out more details on her blog here.

Heather used the alphabet letters to make magnets on grandma’s fridge.  Isn’t this SO CUTE and creative?!  It definitely reminds me of when my girls were toddlers.  Time sure does fly.  For more details and another amazing project be sure to check out her blog here.

I have a clean and simple card to share with you today.  I used the grid image and alphabet stamps to create a “boggle”-like board.  I kept it very simple as I wanted to let the image be the main focus.

We are lucky to have our guest designers, Julie and Amber, back with us today featuring more projects from our Lots of Love set that was revealed yesterday.

I love Julie’s use of happy colors and twine on this next card.  If you have ordered from us it will be no surprise that I *LOVE* twine.  Check out Julie’s blog for more details on how she created this cute card.

Amber created this “adorable” card and I must tell you that I am so smitten with it.  The cascading hearts are the perfect compliment to the sentiment.  Be sure to check out Amber’s blog for more details.

I have some exciting news that some of you have been asking forStarting with this release we will offer Tip & Idea Sheets for all of our stamp sets!  You will be able to view and print them from each stamp's page in the store if you wish.  The four sets released this month will all have them and I will be going through and creating them for our previously released sets as well (they will hopefully be uploaded within the month).   These are tips, thoughts and ideas that I had when I was creating each set.

We have a new product in our store as well.  We now offer Stamp Storage Pockets for those of you that are looking to store your stamp sets in something other than their retail packaging.  This is how I store my sets and this system works very well for me.   Our Stamp Storage Pockets are clear/transparent plastic and are sold in sets of three for $1. Each pocket will fit one standard 4x6" clear stamp set or two 4x3" clear stamp sets.  Store the pockets in a CD/DVD storage basket or clip them up if you wish.  Each pocket measures 5.63" x 7.38" and includes a flap that tucks in to keep your stamps secure in the pocket.  For greater stability, consider taking the stamp set out of the retail packaging and tape it to a 5 1/4" x 7 1/8" sheet of card stock. Our stamp set Tip & Idea Sheets are sized so they may be printed on the back of the 5 1/4 x 7 1/8" card stock sheet. Just slide the stamp set/card stock sheet into the pocket. ** Stamp set and basket not included.

I hope that you have enjoyed the projects that you have seen today.  In honor of our Release Week, we will be giving away a $25 gift certificate to our store.  To be entered to win let us know your thoughts about our Fun With Letters stamp set on this post.
