You Did It Week

January 28, 2022

Hey crafty friends! Today I'm creating a card using You Did It and lots of other fun stamps!

I love mixing new and old Avery Elle stamp sets.

I looked through my favorite Peek a Boo sets and found a fun collection of zoo animals. Check out the supply list below to see what sets I pulled from. You can make this card with any Peek a Boo stamps so look to see what is in your stash!

Next I arranged the animals to hold the flags and put them on a scene of stamped confetti and the Leafy Frames die.

I hope this card inspires you to mix up your stamp and die sets to create something new!

Forest Dance Party Week - Day 4

November 18, 2021

Hello everyone! Heather here.

Today, I've got a card to share using the new Forest Dance Party. These little critters are so cute! You can just imagine the music they're making!

To start my card, I first stamped and die cut all of the images. From there I colored them all in and got them ready to put on a card.

Then I ink blended a background and added the die cut Leafy Frames Die to the front of it all. Finally I secured it all and added gel pen accents.
Thanks for stopping by!

Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers Week - Day 5

March 12, 2021

Hi Everyone! How is your week going? Today I'm sharing Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers. These animals are so fun and easy to create with. Let's check it out...

I die cut the lions from Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers. I trimmed the mane off one of them to make a female lion. Aren't they cute? You could make a whole family too! I layered the lion with the mane and then shaded both lions with Copics.
Next, I die cut the Leafy Frame Die and the Happy Birthday Die. Those cute hearts above the lions were stamped from Rainbow Builder. Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment from Look How Big.

Thanks for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you create!

Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers Week - Day 3

March 10, 2021

Hello!

Amy here today sharing a card using a mash up of products!
It's always fun to break out some older products and mash them up with the new ones!

Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers

I used the Leafy Frames Elle-ments out of two colors of green cardstock and then also added in "extra leafy bunches" behind the frame for a "fuller" look.  I love how it adds dimension.  To the frame, Shabby Shutters Distress Ink was blended over the top.  The background was ink blended with Scattered Straw Distress Ink.

Using the NEW Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers, the hippo and lion were die cut several times out of different colors of cardstock and "paper pieced" back together.  A few white details were added with a white pigment pen.  For the sentiment, I used one from Peek-A-Boo Jungle and stamped it on the banner die from the Peek-A-Boo Jungle Elle-ments.

So I challenge you, to get out those older supplies and use them in a mash up!!

Rawr Week - Day 2

April 28, 2020

Hello friends,

Katie here with a card featuring the adorable and fierce dinosaurs from the Rawr Clear Stamp set.

These dino pals are ready to celebrate, so I set the scene using Avery Elle's Leafy Frame Elle-ments die. I die cut the frame twice, once from green card stock and the second time from patterned paper. I inverted the green card stock frame before glueing the layers together for some added interest and dimension.

I stamped and colored the dinosaurs and party hats with Copic Markers and die cut them with the coordinating Elle-ments dies. I adhered the die cut frame and dinos to a panel of watercolor card stock blended with a bit of Distress Oxide ink around the edges.

For the sentiment, I borrowed the frame from the Peek-A-Boo Jungle stamp set. I stamped the banner and sentiment on black card stock with Versamark ink before heat embossing with white embossing
powder. I die cut the banner and added it to the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a dino-mite day!

Speech Bubbles Week - Day 2

March 24, 2020

Hello!  Amy here with a clean and simple scene card using mainly dies from Avery Elle.

My card measures 4.25" x 4.25".  I created a scene using several dies:  Leafy Frames Elle-ments and Grand Photo Mat Elle-Ments (retired but an alternative is the Photo Mat Elle-ments).  I trimmed down the photo mat die and layered the Leafy Frames behind it.

Speech Bubbles

My scene frame was adhered with foam adhesive.  I added the cute Leopard from the Peek-A-Boo Jungle set and a speech bubble.  The new Speech Bubbles set has so many perfect sentiments to use with 2 different speech bubbles!!

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week - Day 4

February 13, 2020

Hey everyone! Heather Campbell here. Today, I've got not one, not two, but THREE super fun cards using the new Peek-a-Boo Pals Jungle stamp and die set.

I have had so much fun with this set. Obviously, I mean THREE cards. :) I love when a set is so easy you can't stop playing! But let's be honest, really I adore all of the peek-a-boo sets. They're so fun to play with and so easy to work with! I'm having fun building my collection of things to put them in and learning all of the different ways they can work with my existing stash of goodies!

First up, a fun design I've used before but honestly can't stop!
For this card, I layered patterned paper onto my card base and then added a layer using the Oval Burst die cut popped up with dimensional foam. Then, I added my animals and sentiment banner from the Peek-a-Boo Pals Jungle set, as well as some accent hearts.
I love how all these guys work together so much!

Next, I decided to work with the Leafy Frame die and combine it with the already released Peek-a-Boo Car. Except this time, I made the car into an all terrain vehicle which you can totally imagine cruising through the jungle.

What was really fun on this card was to cut the Leafy Frame layers twice. Then, I flipped them 180 degrees so that I had two layers worth of dimension with the darker green on the top and a lighter green behind.

Finally, I wanted to go simple and I really wanted to use that smaller circle that sits inside the Leafy Frame die.

Again, I used that sentiment banner and assembled a very easy card using that circle to act as a focal point for the entire card. I love the pop of black and white washi tape behind the banner which accents the zebra. So fun, right?

Well, that's it from me today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
XOXO, Heather

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week - Day 3

February 12, 2020

Hi everyone!  Amy here and since Valentine's Day is just a few days away, I thought I'd share a card I made using the new
Peek-a-Boo Jungle set which is perfect for masculine cards!

Using some watercolor paper, I watercolored some circular areas using Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Inks.   I also added some paint splatters too while I had my palette out.  I set this paper aside to fully dry.

Using the new Leafy Frames Elle-ments, the circular frame was die cut four times....twice out of a lighter green cardstock and twice out of a complimentary darker green cardstock.  Once done, the dark frame was layered over the lighter frame giving it some a "fuller" look.  I adhered these frames over the watercolored cardstock circles from earlier offsetting them just a bit to show some of the watercolor on the outside of the frames.  The cute zebra and lion were Copic colored and added to the frames with foam adhesive.  The sentiment banner (included in the Peek-a-Boo Jungle set) was a perfect fit between my jungle scenes.  To complete my card, a few red die cut hearts were added.

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week - Day 2

February 11, 2020

Hello Avery Elle lovelies,

Katie here with a little Peek-A-Boo Pals: Jungle inspiration to share with you today. I love all the Peek-A-Boo Pals and I am just WILD about this latest addition.

For my card, I blended some Distress Ink around the edges of a panel of water color card stock and spattered it with an orange spray stain. I stamped, colored and die cut all the pals along with the banner and sentiment.

To set the scene, I die cut the Leafy Frames Elle-ments die from green card stock and tucked all the pals and the banner among the leafy fronds. I arranged the paws and hooves so that the Pals really look like they're playing Peek-A-Boo in the jungle setting.
