Spellbinders 2015 Summer Road Trip Partner Blog Hop

June 29, 2015

Today is an exciting day.  We are participating in the Spellbinders 2015 Summer Road Trip Blog Hop.  There are 11 companies and amazing tutorials that will be shared over the course of the next three days.  Our friends at Spellbinders have provided two of our Design Team members with dies and as you will see, they work so well with our inks, stamps and patterned paper!  They have also come out with a new machine, Sapphire!  Sapphire is an easy to use manual die cutting machine for beginners that cuts and embosses paper and other materials.  It cuts and embosses using dies up to 2  1/4” wide with the turn of a handle. It also has coordinating Sapphire™ blue dies.  You can use the machine with the NEW blue Sapphire die templates, as well as with most Spellbinders and other leading dies.  The Sapphire™ machine and the Sapphire™ dies are sold exclusively at Jo-Ann craft stores and Joann.com. Visit www.SpellbindersCreativeArts.com/Sapphire to learn more.

Let's get to the projects shall we?  Be sure to go all the way to the bottom of this post to enter to win a giveaway from Avery Elle and Spellbinders!

Authentique and Avery Elle Day 2

July 15, 2014

It's Day 2 of Authentique and Avery Elle week!  This week the Avery Elle design team is playing with Authentique papers, Life Cards and embellishments.  After visiting here, be sure to check out the Authentique Blog for even more inspiration!  We have a fabulous prize up for grabs so be sure to comment on our blogs throughout to week to be entered to win!

Kasia Curry created this card using papers and embellishments from Authentique's new Radiant and Harmony lines.  The sentiment is from our Weather It stamp set and the banner is from our Build A Banner stamp set.  This card is so lovely and is sure to cheer someone up!

Chunyuan Wu created this card using papers from the same lines.  I love the combination of the Be Happy embellishment with the "be bright. be you" sentiment from our So Happy stamp set. It is a fun mix of bold and dainty.  So cute!

Chunyuan's next card uses an embellishment from Authentique's Radiant collection to mat a sentiment from our Simply Said Hello stamp and die set.  I love the bright and cheerful colors!  Those hexagons dotted throughout the card are the perfect touch!  I adore this!

In our last card for today, Chunyuan used our Dotted Dies to cut out some of the paper from Authentique's new Harmony card making stack.  She shows that you can use the papers for more than just card bases!

Happy Birthday & Hello!

July 10, 2014

Hello!  I hope that you are having a great week so far.   Today I have two cute projects by Heather Campbell and a fun card by JJ Bolton to share with you.

Heather created this first card using our Balloons stamps & dies on a Dotted Dies mat.  I love the way Heather used little asterisk die cuts as confetti around the balloons. This is a classic birthday card for young or old, boy or girl!  I love it!

Heather used our Red & Goldie stamps and dies along with part of a Dotted Die cut to create this next card.  I love how she used the heart and striped patterned paper from our The Sorbet Collection paper pad.   Isn't it so cute!?!  The patterns in our paper pads were designed to be pretty basics that won't go out of style!

JJ created this next card using our Avery Elle Signature and Simply Said Hello Dies.  I absolutely love the way that she die cut the colored vellum and stacked them on top of each other to get this fresh and modern effect!  It is just gorgeous!

Inspiration from JJ & Heather

May 8, 2014

Today I have three fun projects to share with you.  JJ Bolton created this first card using our Brushed stamp set and Simply Said Hello die.  I love the repetition and simplicity!

This next card by JJ is a modern take on a birthday card.  I adore how the bold brush strokes compliment the gold sentiment.  By curving the Brushed stamps on her acrylic block, JJ shows how you can create a variety of looks with these brush stroke images.

Heather Campbell created this card using our Pinked dies, Storybook stamp set and Custom Panels die.  She used the curved die that is included in Custom Panels to create the hill that the deer is standing on.   I love it!
