Peek-A-Boo Coaster with Amy

August 31, 2020

Hello!  While we are getting ready for our next release on Sept 24th I will be featuring some of my favorite Design Team projects from our Summer release.  They are so amazing and they are worth taking a second look!  I cannot wait to show you the 14 stamp sets and 15 die sets that we have coming out on September 24th.   They are sooo good! In the meantime, enjoy this great project by Amy!

Hello!
I'm here today with some fun images to remind us that summer is still in full force!
The Peek-a-Boo sets from Avery Elle are some of my favorites.  This past release included Peek-a-Boo Coaster and Peek-a-Boo Boat.

PeekABoo Coaster

I'm a sucker for an awesome roller coaster!  The thrill is so much fun.  Peek-a-Boo Coaster was paired here with the Cloud Mat Elle-ments.  The sky was ink blended with Broken China Distress Ink blending from the center out.  The Cloud Mat Elle-ments was layered over the top leaving out some of the lower clouds.  The roller coaster was added to the bottom along with a white heat embossed sentiment strip.  The clouds as well as the Copic colored skunk, owl, and coaster cars were added with foam adhesive.

Best Day Ever By Ashley

August 25, 2020

Hi Everyone! Ashley here today sharing Poppies!

To create my card I stamped and die cut the large poppy flower on pink card stock. Next, I stamped the same flower on the white panel, can you see it peeking through? Next, I die cut 'best day ever' from gold card stock. Finally, I put all the pieces together including a navy blue panel and light grey card base.

I can't wait to use this card for a fun celebration or wedding!

Have a great day!

Big Congrats by Katie

August 24, 2020

Hello Avery Elle friends,

Katie here with a card to share featuring the Big Congrats stamp set and coordinating Elle-ments die.

Using the Big Congrats Elle-ments die, I cut Congrats from gold card stock and the backing layer in white card stock. I layered the die cuts and used Avery Elle's liquid adhesive to attach the layers together.

I stamped the "So Happy for You" sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.

I adhered the die cut and sentiment onto an alcohol ink background. I added a few clear flat sequins as a finishing touch.

A Gorgeous Poppies card by Melania

August 20, 2020

Hi all! It's Deasy here. Today I want to share my card for Avery Elle featuring Poppies. This stamp set is so sweet and pretty! For my card today, I make a thank you card and color the images using watercolor.

Avery Elle supply that I'm using :
Poppies Clear Stamp for the sentiment and images
Poppies Elle-ments to die cut the images
Oval Burst Elle-ments to die cut the background

I stamp and emboss the images using gold embossing powder, color it using watercolor then die cut it. The sentiment is from white embossing powder. To color the background, I'm using dye ink pad with blending tool then splash water and watercolor with a brush. For the embellishment, I add some clear droplets and clear sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Hugs,

Melania Deasy

August 19, 2020

Hey there! Caryn here today sharing a card (and video) with all you Avery Elle fans featuring the Poppies set. One of my favourite plants is the poppy. I love their paper-like petals and the range of colours from deep, bold reds and pinks to soft pastel shades of every colour. I knew we had to add a stamp set dedicated to these beautiful flowers to the Avery Elle inventory!

I've created a wee video just to show how this simple card came together.

For my card today I decided on a pastel pink variety. I stamped all of the images with New Moon dye ink as I wasn't sure exactly what arrangement I had in mind to begin with. I coloured the images with Copics and die cut them.

I created a mat using the Wonky Stitches die and mounted it using foam tape onto a white A2 card front. I then added the garland image and placed the single large poppy image (which matches the one in the garland) over the top to add dimension. I added the other images in a small arrangement in the opposite corner using liquid adhesive and foam tape.

To finish I added some sparkle with a glitter brush pen and some Essentials By Ellen heart shaped drops and the sentiment from the Poppies set.

Poppies With Heather

August 18, 2020

Hey everyone!!! It's Heather here. Today I've got a card using the new Poppies stamp set.
When I saw this stamp set for the first time, I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it. For some reason, I absolutely love coloring flowers on kraft. It just makes it pop!

Isn't this set sooo pretty? Eep, I love!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!
XOXO, Heather

Big Congrats With Elena

August 17, 2020

Hi there!

Elena here, with a sweet card for a new baby:

This card came together in under 10 minutes, which is UNHEARD of for me. I usually fuss and color and fuss some more, but the large scale CONGRATS die made it so easy! I opted to use only the script portion, but there is another part to the die that allows you to mat the script onto another color. I cut the scripty congrats 3x, and in pastel, baby colors. I then layered them onto my base layer, a soft grey striped paper from The Holiday Collection paper pad.

To add a graphic element, I stamped the second part of the sentiment (from Big Congrats) in black ink and placed it under the layered die-cuts. For a final touch, I cut stars using the Star Scene die, and sprinkled them around.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

I am so excited to have Guest Designer, Noga Shefer back with these two adorable cards that she created.  Aren't they sooo cute?

The sipping bear in the second card is just adorable.  I love how he is relaxing and thinking out on that log!

Thanks to Noga for creating these cards for us and thank YOU for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great weekend!

Whiskers Week - Day 5

August 14, 2020

Hi there!

Elena here, with a cute card featuring the kitties from Whiskers:

I love how big these kitties are! Their larger size makes it so easy to just color and put the card together. I love scene building so much, but sometimes it's nice to have things just come together without a fuss. I gave the kitties a "floor" to ground them, and grabbed a blue ombre paper from The Holiday Collection paper pad to cover the card base. I added a white frame, and then placed my kitties inside.

Here's a little tip to add interest to these kitties: color them with copic markers, and then use the darkest color to add little stripes! Also, use the colorless blender (0 marker) to remove color from the muzzle area. By adding little stripes or spots you can stretch your stamps so much! So many possibilities!

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Whiskers & Suns Out Week - Day 4

August 13, 2020

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing a few stamp sets that are SO cute. Let's take a look...

First, I created a card with Whiskers. I picked two of the cats from the set (there are four!) then stamped, colored and die cut them. Next I stamped several supporting images. Aren't they so fun?! I haven't made a patterned paper layered card in awhile and I thought these cats were so soft and playful it is the perfect background.

I picked several patterned papers from my stash, trimmed them down and loosely stacked them. Once I found a combination I liked I adhere the cats and toys to the scene and added the sentiment.

The next card is so simple and colorful. I stamped the cat riding the unicorn floatie. My daughter has this floatie so I enjoyed matching the colors to the real lift floatie. :)

Next, I made the background with colored card stock, Distress ink, paint splatters and wave stamps.

The card was completed with a sentiment and cloud dies from Cupid Dies.

Whiskers & Suns Out Week - Day 3

August 12, 2020

Hey everyone! It's Heather Campbell here. Today, I've got not one, not two, but THREE cards to share with you today!

For my first projects, I've got cards using the new Whiskers stamp set.
Aren't these cats just too cute?

For mt first card, I decided to put two cats together on an ink blended background.

Don't you just love the extra pop the Scallop Mat die gives this project? That banner is from Wonky Stitches and I use it all of the time!

For my next (and probably my favorite card I've made this release), I paired the new Picture Perfect dies with the cats from Whiskers. I added some tone-on-tone stamping to create a really fun kraft background.

How fun are those picture dies? Eep, I'm going to get a lot of use out of these!

Next up, Suns Out, Buns Out
Again, I used the new Picture Perfect die with the Waves background die

I love this card so much!!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a great one!

Suns Out & Whiskers Week- Day 2

August 11, 2020

Hey there, Caryn here today sharing two cards that are sure to brighten the dullest day!

First up is the this card featuring the sweet Sun's Out set.  Isn't it the cutest?

I started with  a square card base and die cut the Sea Scene Elle-ments from some paper from the Spring Paper Collection pad die and added some silver glitter paper behind it where the wave shapes show through.  I kept the positive elements and added them to the card base for background texture.

Next I stamped and die cut some flowers and foliage from the Tropical Bouquet stamp set and added it to the card using it to frame the focal point for a bright and summery look.

To finish I used one of the speech bubble dies from the Peek-a-Boo Pals die set and stamped the cute sentiment in black ink and added some glaze to the shades!

My second card is a clean and simple idea using one of the cat images from the Whiskers stamp set.  I stamped the cat and coloured her using Copics.  Next I used the pink/blue pastel ombre paper from the Spring Paper Collection and die cut the frame using the Hearts Frame die.
I die cut and stamped a banner for my sentiment using Banner Bits and finished it all off with a few stamped hearts.

Whiskers Week - Day 1

August 10, 2020

Hello Avery Elle friends,

Katie here with a double feature of inspiration... two cards featuring the Suns Out and Whiskers stamp sets!

First is a card featuring the adorable and hilarious Suns Out clear stamps. This set just makes me smile. I colored the Bunny and his toasty buns with Copic Markers, die cut the images and positioned him on the Sea Scene Elle-ments die. I adhered the sea scene to an A2 notecard covered with Avery Elle's patterned paper.

I added a cluster of flowers and leaves from the Tropical Bouquet clear stamps and stamped the sentiment in black ink onto a Party Tag Elle-ments die cut. I trimmed the tag and adhered it to the top of my card.

Supplies

My next card features the new Whiskers clear stamps. I wanted to feature ALL the kitties in the set, so I decided to create four little vignettes on a slimline card. I masked off the card at 2 1/8 increments and blended Distress Oxide ink to create the backgrounds. I spattered the blended panel with water and used an white gel pen to brighten some of the water spots.

Next I stamps, colored and die cut all the kitties and their accessories. I adhered the kitties to each panel and added a sentiment from the set. I really love these sweet felines and I know just the cat lover who will appreciate this card!

Well that's all for me this Monday! I hope your week is off to a great start.

Tropical Bouquet Week - Day 5

August 7, 2020

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing Tropical Bouquet! Let's check it out!
To create my card I stamped and die cut the small flower from the stamp set. It was so fun blending ink colors to get an interesting design. Next I cut a few stripes of card stock and stamped the sentiment on the white stripe.
I combined all of the pieces on a card base that was splattered with ink. Finally, I added some washi tape to finish my design.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tropical Bouquet Week - Day 4

August 6, 2020

Hello friends,

Katie here with a card featuring the Tropical Bouquet stamp set. While this gorgeous collection of leaves and blooms can stand all on its own, I decided to pull out the Flamingo from the Peek-a-Boo Summer Pals stamp set and use the sets together to create a sunny card perfect for summer.

I stamped the leaves and hibiscus flowers from Tropical Blooms and die cut the images with the coordinating Elle-ments dies. Next I stamped, colored and die cut the Flamingo.

I blended a panel of watercolor card stock with two shades of Distress Oxide ink and spattered it with water to create the sun spots. I topped the watercolor panel with the Scalloped Mat Elle-ments die. I built the bouquet of Tropical blooms and tucked the Flamingo behind the foliage. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and added a few clear droplets as a finishing touch.

I hope this week is sending you lots of sunshine! Thanks for stopping by!

Tropical Bouquet Week - Day 3

August 5, 2020

Hi friends!

It's Yainea here today with a fresh and summery card featuring Tropical Bouquet. I love tropical flowers and solid stamps so I knew I'd love to play with this stamps.

This was kind of an experiment and I'm pretty happy with the results. I stamped the images using a light color ink on vellum and then I colored them with Posca markers. I really like the matte finish of their colors and they look wonderful on vellum. Also, due to the humidity of the markers, the vellum curled a little giving the flowers and leaves more dimension, talk about happy accidents!

With a bunch of flowers and leaves I arranged a little bouquet and adhered it with clear adhesive dots to some Avery Elle paper cut into a big tag shape where I previously heat embossed my sentiment.
For the sentiment I used the precious Modern Calligraphy alpha set.

Finally I glued the tag to my base card and added some white liquid enamel dots and twine. I hope you like my project for today!

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a great day!
