Ranunculus Week - Day 1

June 28, 2022

Hello friends!

Amy here with probably my most favorite Avery Elle set to date......the Ranunculus.  This set is so absolutely perfect for any type of card!

Layering stamps are one of my favorite things to use!  Using colors of pinks and oranges, the flowers were done with FOUR layers to give them stamped dimension.  The leaf bunches were all done with THREE layers of stamping.  Once die cut, they were arranged over a stacked frame made with the Pierced Ray Frame Elle-ments.  This die set has two extra die cut words that make it so versatile!  I've done the inner frame and the sentiment 'congrats' in gold cardstock.  Gold pearls were added as finishing touches to match the frame and sentiment.

Thanks for sharing a part of your day here!!!

Hoot Hoot Hooray Week - Day 2

June 21, 2022

Hi everyone!

Amy here with a birthday card using Hoot Hoot Hooray!  The owl holding the banner is so cute.

The background was made by ink blending Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink over a panel of cardstock.  The background was spritzed with water droplets and once dry, sheer shimmer spray was spritzed over the top.  I love the look this spray gives to a background!  From this background, the Oval Scene Elle-ments was die cut into it discarding the "frame" that the die creates.

Each of the images was Copic colored with some primary colors and die cut.  The images were then added with foam adhesive to create dimension for the scene.  Randomly placed die cut clouds, from Oval Scene Elle-ments, were added to complete my scene!

Hoot Hoot Hooray Week - Day 1

June 20, 2022

Hi there!

Elena here, with a fun birthday card featuring Hoot Hoot Hooray:

These googly eyed owls crack me up! I stamped 2 branch images so that I could perch an owl on each one. I colored their party accessories and balloons in a bright red, which really pop over the soft blue cloudy sky.

To create the background, I used the cloud dies found in the Oval Scene Die set, and created a layer with cloud cut-outs. I used a few of the die-cut clouds over-top, to add even more texture.

I blended some blue ink on the cloudy layer, and splattered some darker blue ink. To finish off the card, I split the sentiment into 2 sections and added bright red confetti.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Hogs Week - Day 5

June 17, 2022

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Happy Hogs along with Pierced Birthday Frame die set.

To create this card I started by die cutting the sentiment in white, then three colors of card stock. I layered the colors over the white and pushed out some of the larger spaces in the letters. Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the adorable pig from Happy Hogs. Then, I ink blended sun rays on a white panel, added the stamped and die cut images and stamped the black sentiment.

This was such a fun card to create!

Happy Hogs Week - Day 3

June 15, 2022

Hello!

It's Yainea here today featuring Happy Hogs stamps and coordinating dies. This stamp set!! Clearly my fav in the release (and this release is amazing!) but these little cute piglets have stolen my heart, they're so round and happy! Hahaha

So, for the card I used solid color cardstock for the background, then I stamped, die cut and colored all the images with alcohol markers and finally I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. I hand draw the big puddle of mud with a black marker (don't use an alcohol one or it will bleed while using alcohol markers to color the puddle).

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today, I hope you feel inspired to create!

Happy Hogs Week - Day 2

Caryn here today with a card using the fabulous Happy Hogs set.  This is such a cute stamp set - I love the expressions on those piggies faces!

Happy Hogs Week - Day 1

June 13, 2022

Hi there!

Elena here, with a card featuring the cutest, dirtiest piglets:

The sentiment, from Happy Hogs, dictated the whole card design! I used the Oval Scene Die to create a whole muddy pond for them to play and roll around in. I purposefully did not blend the brown background too well, leaving darker smudges to make it look more like mud.

The pigs were stamped and colored with copic markers. I colored them with E00, E02 and E11 markers. I also added some R20 for the cheeks and a bit of RV10 to bump up the "pinkness" of the hogs. I brought in some splashes from Make A Splash, but colored them to look like flying bits of mud.

To finish off, I stamped the greeting in a crisp, black ink, and added butterflies and flowers to balance the focal image.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous Week - Day 4

June 10, 2022

Hi Everyone! I can't believe it's almost summer! I know my kids will be saying goodbye to their current school year soon and it's a perfect time to thank teachers!

I created this card starting with the apple die cut from Fabulous Shapes. I used three different shades of pink and then green felt for the leaf. I love adding extra sparkle, so I used Stickles in the middle section of the apple. Next, I die cut stars from the new die set Pierced Ray Frame. These stars are the perfect size for accenting die cuts or stamped images on a card. Then I stamped and die cut the word Amazing from Fabulous. I added all of these pieces to a card front splattered in black ink with three card stock diagonal stripes. Finally, I stamped Teacher to complete my card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous Week - Day 2

June 7, 2022

Hello!  Amy here today sharing a project using the new FABULOUS stamps, dies, and shapes dies.  I used the nesting hearts for my card but you could adapt and use the rainbow or apple shape too!

Using the heart shape die, the heart was die cut from pink, peach, yellow, and gold glitter cardstock.  After layering them back together interchanging layers, they were picked up with Press 'n Seal and added to a white notecard with foam adhesive.  A few other glitter hearts and embellishments were added.  A frame from Pierced Birthday Frame Elle-ments done in white cardstock was added with a double layer of foam adhesive.  The sentiment, from Fabulous, was gold heat embossed onto white cardstock along with a supporting sentiment.  To finish, the sentiments were added over the center heart with foam adhesive.
