Life Week - Day 4

July 30, 2021

Hi! Today I'm sharing the sweet little set called Life. It adds on perfectly to the Sweet Day stamp set.

I stamped the ice cream truck from Sweet Days and then the pig and birds from Life. I arranged the scene in and around a circle window, adding green grass cut from the Slimline Boarder dies. I also added the sun from Flamazing.

I finished the card with a sentiment from Life stamps and the Plus Frame die.

Thanks for stopping by!

Life Week - Day 2

July 28, 2021

Hello!

Amy here with an adorable small set called Life.

Life

I don't always have these types of cards ready when the time hits but this set is perfect for a "smaller" card size.  This card measures 3 1/2" x 5 7/8".  I created the scene details using the Slimline Borders Elle-ments.  I have used these a TON for creating my scenes!  Don't overlook a great scene-building set of dies!  All images from Life were Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.

Slimline Borders with Melania

July 27, 2021

Hi all! It's Deasy here. Today I want to share my card for Avery Elle featuring Slimline Borders Dies. This dies is so versatile, pretty and fun! I have so much fun play with it!

Avery Elle supply that I'm using :
Slimline Borders Elle-ments to die cut the background
Luau Party Clear Stamps for the images and sentiment
Luau Party Elle-ments to die cut the images

I stamp, color the images using copic then die cut it. The sentiment is from white embossing powder. To color the background, I'm using dye ink pad with blending tool then splash water and watercolor with a brush. For the embellishment, I add some clear sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Hugs,

Melania Deasy

Life Week - Day 1

July 26, 2021

Hi there,

Elena here, with a card featuring the sad little piggy from Life:

This whole scene is so pitiful! On the left, they're all excited to be getting their cool treats, and then the piglet on the right has dropped his. Life really sucks sometimes! He looks so sad!

The ice cream truck, squirrel, bunny and turtle are from Sweet Day. I kind of designed the 2 sets to work separately, but also together.

I mean, if you don't look at this and want to hug him, do you even have a heart?

The next card, I shared as part of the new release blog hop back in May, but here's another look at how to use the 2 sets together:

I colored the ice cream truck and background in all muted tones, and set them inside of a polaroid. These 2 sentiments are my favorite of the set.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Easy Layers with Yainea

July 23, 2021

Hello!

It's Yainea here today sharing a fun and colorful card that showcases Easy Layers 1 die set. I love these kind of sets with dies that I'm gonna use again and again. In fact I've been using it for all of my projects in this release ;)

Here I matched it with the cute Island Time stamps and some Avery Elle patterned papers using this fresh color combination to create this summery card. The images were colored with alcohol markers and I used almost all the elements in the set. To finish it up I used some Nuvo drops and that beautiful pink Avery Elle twine.

I hope you like it and feel inspired to play with your stamps today!

Thank you so much for stopping by, have nice day!

Lovely Week - Day 4

July 22, 2021

Hello everyone! It's Heather here. Today, I'm here with a card using the new Lovely stamp set.

I love these floral and leaf images so much. The simple and understated and oh so pretty!

To create my card, I went to one of my favorite techniques which is heat embossing with white onto color cardstock. I love how this looks and the accents with the white/black patterned paper and the die cut/stamped sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely Week - Day 2

July 20, 2021

Hi there!

Elena here, with a sweet card featuring the tropical flowers from Lovely:

I started out by coloring a whole slew of flowers and leaves, and layered them behind the sweet elephant from Island Time. I then did some soft ink-blending on my card base layer, and layered the images on top of that, along with the die-cut Hooray. I layered 2 Hooray die-cuts together, giving the light pink layer a bit of a darker pink shadow. The whole thing was framed out using a scalloped frame from the Fairy Ephemera Pack, and the secondary sentiment is from Sweet Day.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely Week - Day 1

July 19, 2021

Hi there.  It's Caryn here today sharing a bright and fun card featuring the Lovely stamp set and dies.  I've paired it with the gorgeous Hooray die and a palette of rainbow gorgeousness.

I blended Distress Inks onto some watercolour paper and spritzed with water for a textured effect.  Whilst that was drying I stamped all the images from the Lovely stamp set onto more watercolour card and used Karin Pro brush Markers to colour the images.

I die cut the rainbow panel using the Double Pierced Rectangle dies  then also cut a strip from the centre using the curved border die from the Slimline Border elle-ments.  I popped the two rainbow die cut pieces up on foam tape them glued the flower elements along the edge and finished with a multi-layered die cut HOORAY in the centre!

You Rock Week - Day 1

July 12, 2021

Hello friends,

Katie here with a tip to share with you featuring the You Rock stamp set. The You Rock set has such a fun, retro feel. You can expand the fun by using the elements in You Rock to set and share the scene with other stamp sets.

My first card features the milkshake image. The milkshake is sweet on its own, but the sweetness gets amped up when the kitty from the Peek-a-Boo Pets stamp set is enjoying the treat. The dotted banner from the Easy Layers die frames the scene perfectly.

My second card uses the awesome jukebox paired with the Oh Snap set for a little Crocodile Rock. The Ray die background draws the eye to the party.

When combining stamp sets, think about the following:

Scale- Will the size and scale of the two sets make visual sense? If not, consider playing with placement and perspective to help create the right scale.

Style- Do the styles of the sets work together. I love the distinctive, fresh and modern designs created by Avery Elle and so many of the sets go so well together. Using a cohesive color palette can really help the two sets blend together.

Scene- Think about making a scene. Can one set create a backdrop for other images to take center stage? Will the sets compliment each other to tell a story or make a visual statement that you are trying to achieve?

I hope these tips and ideas will help you look at your stamps in new ways and think about all the fun combinations that you can create! Thanks for stopping by!

Katie

Island Time Week - Day 6

Hello there!

It's Yainea here today to bring you some inspiration. I hope you're having a nice Summer! Where I live it hasn't been a very summery weather so playing with the new Island Time stamps and dies was so fun!

I decided to create all the card using just ink and watercolors so this card is perfect if you don't have a lot of supplies! I used watercolor paper both for the images and the background. Just have in mind that you need a waterproof ink for this.

The background panel and the label for the sentiment are from the Easy Layers 1 die set. I just love this kind of sets with basic dies, I use them a lot!

I hope you feel inspired to get your stamps and play a little bit! Thank you so much for stopping by today, big hugs!

Island Time Week - Day 5

July 9, 2021

Hello, it's Heather here! I'm back with an Island Time card.

How fun is this set? It has pretty much everything that could be pulled together to create the cutest little island scenes! And that sign - it cracks me up! So many good options.

To create my card, I stamped, colored and die cut all of the images. Then I simply ink blended a background from Easy Layers 1 and pulled everything together with lots of dimensional adhesive. Super easy and super cute.

So that's it from me today! Have a great one!
