Hoppy Eaaster Week - Day 4

February 28, 2020

Hi Everyone! Can you believe spring and Easter are right around the corner?! Today I'm sharing Hoppy Easter. This is such an adorable mini set, let's take a look...

To create this card I stamped, die cut and colored the large bunny and egg image. I added a few small stamps from the set around the bunny to create the cute scene. I water colored the background then added a fun die cut frame and grass from the Fairy Ephemera pack. I finished the card with a heat embossed sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hoppy Easter Week - Day 3

February 26, 2020

Hello everyone! It's Heather here.

Today, I've got a fun little tag duo featuring the new Hoppy Easter stamp set. Hoppy Easter is an adorable 2x3 mini that's fantastic for the Easter holiday. I mean how cute is that little bunny?!

To create my project, I started with tag bases cut from white cardstock and patterned paper using Party Tags dies. Then, I added some ink blending to the bottom of the white cardstock tags.
I added at the Hoppy Easter bunny to each tag, which I had stamped, die cut, colored in and paper pieced in with the same patterned paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a great one!

Hoppy Easter Week - Day 2

February 25, 2020

Hi there!

Elena here with a sweet card featuring Hoppy Easter:

I colored the bunny + egg image from Hoppy Easter, paper-piecing the egg wrapper with a paper from The Spring Collection Paper Pad. I then stamped the greeting onto the wrapper.

To set the scene, I cut a piece of green patterned paper from the same pad and used it to ground the images. I then grabbed a few clouds from Cupids and set them into the sky.

To add a pop of color to the card, I flanked the egg with mushroom clusters (from Beary Good Friends), and added a heart to the center of the sky.

To finish things off, I added a Wonky Scalloped Frames die that I colored in a light blue (using a copic marker.)

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Hoppy Easter Week - Day 1

February 24, 2020

Hello, Caryn here today with a cute little card using the Hoppy Easter stamp set.  Don't let the teeny size of this set fool you - you can create some gorgeous, festive scenes like I have here.

I started with a 4-bar sized card (31/2 by 4 7/8") and cut a small panel of yellow card for the front which I splattered with white paint (Distress stain in Picket Fence).  Meanwhile I blended some Distress Oxide inks onto some white card and then die cut a frame using Wonky Scalloped Frames which I adhered to the front of the card.

I stamped the images in Fog Dye Ink and then coloured them using pastel shades of Copics blending them on the egg to give a pretty pastel rainbow effect.  Once they were die cut I arranged them on the front of the card and finished by stamping my sentiment in Fog and adding a fluffy bunny tail using a teeny white pom pom

Gifted Week - Day 4

February 18, 2020

Hi Everone! I'm loving the new Gifted stamp set!

My kids love making friend and teacher gifts so I used this set to make a cute tag. I love that I will have this tag ready for whenever and whatever my kids decide to make!

To create the tag, I die cut the Party Tag die. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment then inked the background. I colored in the heart. So cute! Then, I die cut the tag again in a solid blue card stock. Finally, I trimmed the sentiment tag a little on each side so the blue would show on the sides. I couldn't help but add a Peek a Boo animal to finish it off!

Gifted Week - Day 2

Hi there!

Elena here, with a cute card featuring an oversized sentiment from Gifted, as well as images from Hot Dog.

I started out by stamping and die-cutting all of the images. The poodle-in-a-box and the doggie balloons are from Hot Dog, and the extra balloon is from the previously-released Wheelie Great. Everything was colored using copic markers. Once that was done, I set the images aside to created the rest of the card.

For the base, I cut a piece of paper from The Spring Collection Paper Pad. I love the tone-on-tone stripes so much! The whole pad is full of great, subtle patterns that are perfect for cute cards.

Once that was done, I cut a frame and used the trail of hearts die (from Cupids) to cut a full hearts-and-confetti background. I love how this looks! I backed the light pink cardstock with a slightly darker pink color and set my images over-top of it.

To finish off, I stamped the large XOXO greeting from Gifted, and balanced it out with a smaller greeting from Hot Dog.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Gifted Week -Day 1

Hey there, Caryn here today with a couple of ideas for using the GIFTED stamp set along with the Party Tags Elle-ments and a few other gorgeous products from the latest release.

I created a wee video to show how this first project came together.  The idea sprang from seeing a big bag of carrot gummies on Amazon, lol!  I had some cone shaped treat bags in my stash, Mermaid Hemp Twine and some gorgeous green silk ribbon I saved from a Christmas gift so thought this would make a sweet Easter or Spring themed gift!

I created a little scene using some images from the Beary Good Friends set and some masking - how cute is that bunny?  As usual I had to give that bunny tail some dimension so I used the Neon Amplify product which puffs up when you heat it (would be great for snow scenes too I think!)

Here's another tag, this time using one of the images from the Sunflowers stamp set and some pretty yellow grosgrain ribbon.

I wanted the heart to sit under the "made with" part of the sentiment so I simply snipped the stamp with a pair of sharp scissors to separate it!

i Everyone! I'm excited to share the newest Peek a Boo set, Peek a Boo Jungle!

This set is SO fun! I love all of the Peek a Boo sets, but some how they just get better and better! I created my card by stamping, die cutting and coloring all of the animals and feet. Next, I stamped and die cut the banner and sentiment. I have really been in to water colored backgrounds lately, so I made one for this card. I used Avery Elle water color paints. Finally I die cut Leafy Frames dies and assembled the card.

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week - Day 4

February 13, 2020

Hey everyone! Heather Campbell here. Today, I've got not one, not two, but THREE super fun cards using the new Peek-a-Boo Pals Jungle stamp and die set.

I have had so much fun with this set. Obviously, I mean THREE cards. :) I love when a set is so easy you can't stop playing! But let's be honest, really I adore all of the peek-a-boo sets. They're so fun to play with and so easy to work with! I'm having fun building my collection of things to put them in and learning all of the different ways they can work with my existing stash of goodies!

First up, a fun design I've used before but honestly can't stop!
For this card, I layered patterned paper onto my card base and then added a layer using the Oval Burst die cut popped up with dimensional foam. Then, I added my animals and sentiment banner from the Peek-a-Boo Pals Jungle set, as well as some accent hearts.
I love how all these guys work together so much!

Next, I decided to work with the Leafy Frame die and combine it with the already released Peek-a-Boo Car. Except this time, I made the car into an all terrain vehicle which you can totally imagine cruising through the jungle.

What was really fun on this card was to cut the Leafy Frame layers twice. Then, I flipped them 180 degrees so that I had two layers worth of dimension with the darker green on the top and a lighter green behind.

Finally, I wanted to go simple and I really wanted to use that smaller circle that sits inside the Leafy Frame die.

Again, I used that sentiment banner and assembled a very easy card using that circle to act as a focal point for the entire card. I love the pop of black and white washi tape behind the banner which accents the zebra. So fun, right?

Well, that's it from me today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
XOXO, Heather

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week - Day 3

February 12, 2020

Hi everyone!  Amy here and since Valentine's Day is just a few days away, I thought I'd share a card I made using the new
Peek-a-Boo Jungle set which is perfect for masculine cards!

Using some watercolor paper, I watercolored some circular areas using Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Inks.   I also added some paint splatters too while I had my palette out.  I set this paper aside to fully dry.

Using the new Leafy Frames Elle-ments, the circular frame was die cut four times....twice out of a lighter green cardstock and twice out of a complimentary darker green cardstock.  Once done, the dark frame was layered over the lighter frame giving it some a "fuller" look.  I adhered these frames over the watercolored cardstock circles from earlier offsetting them just a bit to show some of the watercolor on the outside of the frames.  The cute zebra and lion were Copic colored and added to the frames with foam adhesive.  The sentiment banner (included in the Peek-a-Boo Jungle set) was a perfect fit between my jungle scenes.  To complete my card, a few red die cut hearts were added.

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week - Day 2

February 11, 2020

Hello Avery Elle lovelies,

Katie here with a little Peek-A-Boo Pals: Jungle inspiration to share with you today. I love all the Peek-A-Boo Pals and I am just WILD about this latest addition.

For my card, I blended some Distress Ink around the edges of a panel of water color card stock and spattered it with an orange spray stain. I stamped, colored and die cut all the pals along with the banner and sentiment.

To set the scene, I die cut the Leafy Frames Elle-ments die from green card stock and tucked all the pals and the banner among the leafy fronds. I arranged the paws and hooves so that the Pals really look like they're playing Peek-A-Boo in the jungle setting.

Peek-A-Boo Jungle Week & Winners

February 10, 2020

Well HELLO there Avery Elle fans!  Today I'm excited to share a card using the fabulous PEEK-A-BOO JUNGLE PALS stamp set and to show you how I paired it with some other amazing new products from the Spring 2020 release

I just love these peek-a-boo critters - every one of them is so cute and I just love how all the sets can co-ordinate.  So clever.
I started with a white card base and blended some pigment inks (Lemongrass and Jungle) onto it.  I splattered some white paint and set it aside to dry.
Next I blended some JungleLemongrass and Celery pigment inks onto some card and then die cut it using the Leafy Frames die.  I adhered this to the card base using foam tape.

I stamped, coloured (Copics) and die cut the jungle pals and for my sentiment I used the Loads of Happy set.  I die cut the skinny "Happy" die and added some touches of colour then adhered it to the card.  I went over it with Crystal Effects to give it some glossy dimension and finished by stamping the birthday block stamp in Jungle pigment ink.
