Monkey Sea Monkey Do With Ashely

September 2, 2020

Hello!  While we are getting ready for our next release on Sept 24th I will be featuring some of my favorite Design Team projects from our Summer release.  They are so amazing and they are worth taking a second look!  I cannot wait to show you the 14 stamp sets and 15 die sets that we have coming out on September 24th.   They are sooo good! In the meantime, enjoy this great project by Ashley!

Hi Everyone! I'm here today and sharing Monkey See Monkey Do. I love a good underwater set and this set is no exception!

This set mini is PACKED full of fun images. To create my card I started by stamping, die cutting and coloring several of the images. It was so fun to pick the colors!

Next, I blended a background with Distress Oxides and added a few bubble details. Finally, I inked, splattered and cut the ground and stamped the sentiment. All these fun details were adhered to the card.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have as much fun with this set as I did! - Ashley

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great day!

Monkey Sea Monkey Do Week - Day 4

July 9, 2020

Hey everyone! It's Heather here. I'm so excited to be back with a card using the new Monkey Sea, Monkey Do stamp and die set. Aren't these snorkeling monkeys just too cute? Eep, I love them!

For my card, decided to create my own custom background using one of my favorite Avery Elle dies, Summer Scene
It's such a fun technique and so great to stretch your stash. I find I have to buy very few stencils using this trick. Love that - more $$$ to spend on stamps! :)

There you have it!

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! Have a great one!

Monkey Sea Monkey Do Week - Day 3

Hello!
Amy here sharing an underwater scene using Monkey Sea Monkey Do.
I'm quite jealous of those being able to go to the beach and ocean right now with the weather we have here in Kansas!

I created my background using the Waves Elle-ments.  I started by ink blending Broken China Distress Ink over a panel of cardstock and spritzing with water.  Once dry, it was die cut using the Waves die.  When die cutting a die like this, I like to leave some of the pieces in place.  It gives your scene much more dimension!  I trimmed the panel down and adhered over a note card that was very loosly ink blended with more Broken China Distress Ink.  What this does is leave some white space for shadows in the background!  The whole note card was spritzed with Avery Elle Clear Shimmer Spray.

The images were all Copic colored, die cut, and adhered with foam adhesive for an underwater scene.  A sentiment strip was also added to the scene.  To finish, many clear bubbles were added to make the scene come alive.

Monkey Sea Monkey Do Week - Day 2

July 7, 2020

Hi there! Elena here, with a little scuba-diving monkeys card:

I stamped, colored and die-cut the images I wanted from Monkey See, Monkey Do, and set them aside. Then, I chose a piece of patterned paper that looked like underwater bubbles (it's actually falling snow! from The Holiday Collection paper pad!) and cut into it with the Waves backdrop die. I fit all of the pieces back in, taped up the back so it would all hold together, and did some light ink-blending around the edges. I wanted to give it a little bit of depth.

Then, I die-cut a Wonky Scalloped Frame and built my scene inside.

I used a little banner flag die, turned on it's side, to house the sentiment. I liked that it added to the wavy, under-the-sea vibe! To finish off, I added some clear dew drops - a subtle, but fun detail.

I hope you like it! This card was so much fun to put together!

Hi everyone! It's Deasy here.Today I want to share my card for Avery Elle featuring Monkey Sea Monkey Do. This stamp set is so adorable and super fun! 2 cute monkey and fishes, so perfect with underwater sea scene!

Avery Elle supply that I'm using :
Monkey Sea Monkey Do Clear Stamp for the sentiment and images
Monkey Sea Monkey Do Elle-ments to die cut the images
Waves Elle-ments to die cut the waves background
Wonky Stitches Elle-ments to die cut the banner for the sentiment

I stamp the images, color it using COPIC then die cut it. The sentiment is from white embossing powder.
