Maple Syrup Week - Day 4

May 21, 2021

Hi Everyone! I'm sharing super adorable Maple Syrup mini stamp set today!

I started this card by creating the background. I layered the Slimline Boarded dies to create fun texture and interest. There are 4 cloud layers on top and a grass layer on bottom. Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the beaver and bird from Maple Syrup. Aren't they cute?! Then I made the film strip background and added the animals. Finally, I die cut the banner and stamped the sentiment and added a few hearts.

Thanks for stopping by!

Maple Syrup Week - Day 3

May 20, 2021

Hey everyone! It's Heather here.

Today I'm playing the adorable new mini stamp set Maple Syrup

For my card, I used the new Easy Layers 1 die to create the layers for my card.

Then, I stamped die cut and colored in all of the Maple Syrup images. To finish off the card, I used some white gel pen and easy layer accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!

Maple Syrup Week - Day 2

May 18, 2021

Hi there!

Elena here, with a sweet card featuring Maple Syrup:

This card is pretty simple, but everything works so well together! Maple Syrup was meant to be a Canada Day set, but I included a few sentiments so that it could work for anyone! For this card, I went with Canada Day colors, but used this sweet-as-maple-syrup sentiment. I think it's adorable! When using a tiny stamp set (Maple Syrup is only a 2x3 set), it helps to bring in images from other sets. Here, I brought it little grass accents and mushrooms from Look How Big, and an extra bird from Life

For the background, I used a sheet of red gingham, from The Holiday Collection Paper Pad. There are many designs in this paper collection that work for projects outside of the Christmas holidays!

To break up all of the gingham, I used 2 different sizes of circle dies to cut into the patterned paper and create a white frame. The little scene fit perfectly inside. Is there anything cuter than a buck-toothed beaver holding a bottle of maple syrup?

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
