Happy New Year & Updates

January 2, 2013

Happy New Year!  I hope that the holidays treated all of you well.  We had a wonderful break here visiting with family and friends. Now that things are getting back to normal, I thought that I would fill you in on some changes that will be taking place here on the Avery Elle blog.  As many of you already know, we will be hosting a challenge on the blog starting the middle of each month.  The winner will get to be a guest designer for our next release and will be featured here on the blog throughout that month.  I am blown away by all of the entries we have received for the first challenge.  If you haven't entered yet, you have until this Friday to submit your creation here.   It is going to be a tough decision!!

Starting this month, our releases will take place on the last Thursday of the month and will be celebrated with a design team blog hop.  Our next release of 4 stamp sets and some new card stock colors will be on Thursday, January 31st.  We will preview our sets earlier that week so that you can see them before they are available for sale.  Our designers' projects will now be featured over the course of the month.  More inspiration for all of us!

We currently have a few stamp sets that are out of stock in the store.  The lead time to get these restocked is taking longer than we would like due to the holidays.  We expect a shipment of these sets in next week.  As soon as we receive them, we will send out email notifications to those of you that asked for them.

I couldn't end the post without a small project.  This is a gift card holder that I made using our All Occasion Tags and Fanfare stamp sets and their free cut files.  I attached a gift card to the back of our Aquamarine card stock and tucked it into a glassine envelope.  I tied the tag around the envelope with some twine and added a bit of washi tape for fun.  Easy and fun!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!
