Hello! Our friends over at My Sweet Petunia are having a fun MISTI May-nia giveaway this month. I am sure by now most of you have heard of the MISTI. It is a tool that allows you to get great stamped images time and time again. There are a ton of great videos over on their website so be sure to check them out for more on this great tool.
We use the MISTI a lot in the office to make card samples. Here is a card that I made using the MISTI, one of our new mini stamp sets (coming out May 26th), our New Moon Dye Ink and our Burst Die Set. Fun right?!

The best thing about handmade cards is that you can personalize them for the recipient, so my favorite stamps are critters doing human type things. They are great for making the card special.

I am currently in love with floral stamps with coordinating dies. Boy would a MISTI really make those easier to do!!
It's so hard to choose just one kind of stamp but I think I will go with texture. I know that sounds weird but I like the dimension you can achieve layering textures & patterns in you backgrounds.
I'm always drawn to flower stamps. So versatile and I mainly send cards to female friends, though owls are a close second since my daughter is a wildlife/raptor specialist.
Got to say how cute that stamp is...reminds me of the girls I work out with.

What fun! I have really been wanting to try the Misti. My favorite cards to make are birthday and Christmas cards. And lately I have been enjoying watercoloring...mostly florals.

I love flower stamps! I recently became interested in watercoloring and floral stamps are a perfect way for me to use my watercolors without having to be perfect. Even messy watercoloring looks great on floral images. I also love, love, love my Misti (I have the original) for getting beautiful crisp, clear stamped images every time.

Botanicals are my go-to for cards. I have sophisticated layering stamps, basic outline stamps and dies, all of which I use frequently. If I'm stamping just about anything else, I usually find a spot for a flower or some leaves or even little grasses. Thank you for offering the MISTI giveaway!!

Love the chick so cute. It's a hard choice to choose my favorite type of stamps. I love them all. I'm loving flyovers right now but critters have a dear spot in my hard. Mystical creatures are are right up there also. I would love to see a good dragonfly set. Everyone needs sentiments, but I'm really looking for some that would go good on the inside or outside.

Sentiment stamps are my favorites. I didn't fall in love with stamping until I saw a video on heat embossing sentiments. Prior to that I made all my sentiment panels and images digitally. After I saw the "magic" of heat embossing, I started stamping and heat embossing my sentiments and then went on to stamping images as well. Your card is darling.
