I created this birthday card using the Icon Fill In The Blank dies and our new Fill In The Blank clear stamp set.  I stamped some stars from Written In The Stars on top of each balloon in versamark to add some more detail.  This card came together quickly and was a lot of fun to make.

It's Inspiration Week!!

A Challenge Reminder and a Suzani Card

Hello everyone!  Just a friendly reminder that there is a little over one week left to enter our August AEI♥U Challenge!  This isn't just any challenge.  The winner will be our guest designer for October.  How great is that?

The winner will receive two stamp sets, will be required to make at least two projects per stamp set, will receive a special guest designer badge for their blog (if they have one), and will be featured throughout the month of October on the Avery Elle blog.

The challenge for this month is to create a project based on this sketch created by Nina Yang.

I also have a card to share with you today.  I stamped the background using images from our new Suzani clear stamp set.  I love the way you can nest these images together to create unique and classic backgrounds.  I stamped a sentiment from our Petals & Stems clear stamp set, mounted the panel on Lemon Grass cardstock and added Lemon Grass grosgrain ribbon to complete the look.

Inspiration from JJ & Heather

Today we have Heather with this sweet Written In The Stars card.  I love how her stars are falling from the sky and that ombre background!!  The pink and kraft together are unexpected yet terrific together. Clean, simple and pretty!

 JJ created this card using our new Happy Camper clear stamp set.  How cute is this little fox floating down the lake?  LOVE it!

Did you see this card that JJ posted on her blog last week?  I just ADORE this cute scene that she created using our Home Sweet Home, Happy Camper and Written In The Stars stamp sets.  I wanted people to be able to mix and match these sets when I was illustrating them!  I love that JJ showcased how well they work together here.

Inspiration from Maska and Suzanne

Today we have Maska with this cute layout using our new Twisted Treats stamp set.  The layers and colors here are stunning as always.  Can you see the bats, bones, spider webs and frame from the stamp set in the background?  This makes me want to start scrapbooking!!

 We also have this fabulous card that was created by our guest designer, Suzanne Dahlberg.  I just adore the way she used our Home Sweet Home stamp set!  The round shape and patterned papers are a perfect compliment to the sweet igloo.  Be sure to stop by Suzanne's blog to leave her some love!

Inpsiration from Chunyuan and Kasia

Today we have Chunyuan with this modern card featuring our new Fill In The Blank clear stamp set and Words Fill In The Blank dies.  I love the layers that she was able to create using our Oh Yeah dies, Aim High stamp set and Aim High dies as well.  What a fun look.

In this next card, Chunyuan combined our Icon Fill In The Blank dies with the Mi Casa Es Su Casa sentiment from our Papel Picado Banners clear stamp set.  I love this clean and simple look.

Kasia created this striped card using our Aim High clear stamp set and coordinating dies.  The border of layered arrows is really fun.  I can't wait to try something like this out myself.

Inspiration with Nina and Donna!

Today we have Nina with this this cute card using our Fill In The Blank stamp set and Icon Fill In The Blank dies.  I love the way she made the balloons come from the house. It is so clever.

Donna created this next card using our Home Sweet Home clear stamp set.  The tee pee image from the set is one of my favorites and I love how Donna used it here.

Donna used one of the small images in our Home Sweet Home set to create a fun pattern on this next card. She shows how you can really stretch this set to make cards for all occasions.  The sentiment from Fanfare and sequins finish off the card perfectly.

Our August AEI♥U Challenge Starts Today!

Hello everyone!  I am so excited because our August AEI♥U Challenge is starting today!!!  This isn't just any challenge.  The winner will be our guest designer for October.  How great is that? 

The winner will receive two stamp sets, will be required to make at least two projects per stamp set, will receive a special guest designer badge for their blog (if they have one), and will be featured throughout the month of October on the Avery Elle blog.

The challenge for this month is to create a project based on this sketch created by our very own design team member, the very talented Nina Yang.  

 Nina used this sketch as her inspiration for this card using our Happy Camper and Handwritten Notes stamp sets and Words Fill In The Blank dies.  I just love this cute scene!!

Here are the challenge details:
1. Avery Elle stamps or our free digital stamps must be used in each entry.  To use our digital stamp, right click on the image and save it to your favorite photo editing program. You may re-size it slightly if you wish.  Please note that our free digital stamps are copyrighted and are for personal use only.  Please credit Avery Elle when using them.
2. You may enter as many times as you wish.
3. You may enter a project that you have created previously.
4. The winner will not be chosen randomly.  We will be looking for entries that include great use of color, design & creativity.
5. You will have two weeks to enter.
