Spotted - Ikat

Happy Thursday!  Here is another amazing card from our Flickr group.  I absolutely love the color combination that Katie Gehring used on this card.  It is so cheerful.  The sentiment from our Bright Days stamp set is a perfect addition.  What a great single layer card!

Avery Elle Updates

Happy Friday everyone! We wanted to let you know about a few things that are going on at Avery Elle.

1.  We just installed a gallery on our site where you can view all of the design team's work by stamp set.  It is now easier than ever to get ideas and inspiration. Hooray!! You can check it out here.

2.  Stock Update:  Our Picture It stamp set is on reorder and is expected to be back in stock at the end of this month.

3.  Our next release of two stamp sets and three card stock / ribbon colors will start on October 1st.  We cannot wait to share with you what we have been working on!

4.  We LOVE seeing all of your projects.  They are so inspiring and make our day!  We will continue to feature projects we see in our flickr group here and on facebook so keep them coming!!

Blooming Banner Card + Freebie Cut File

Hello!  I hope that everyone is having a great week so far.  I wanted to pop in today to show you a birthday card that I made for a girlfriend recently.  If you haven't seen the other cards made using our Blooming Banner stamp set, you can see them in this post here.

I stamped the main image from the set twice to create a border around the Happy Birthday sentiment that is also included in the set.  The cut file makes it so easy to line up.  I love the results.

On the inside of the card I made a little section to hold a gift card by just cutting off a portion of the cut file used above.  I put a line of score tape along the flat section only so that the gift card can slip inside.
