Easy Layers Tags - Day 4

October 29, 2021

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing the Easy Layers Tag Dies.

This tag is so versatile but with Christmas just around the corner I had to create a tag for the holidays! I created the tag and all the fun solid card stock layers with the dies included in the set. Next, I stamped and colored the dog and ornaments from Santa Paws. The tree is from one of my favorite older stamp sets called Peek a Boo Christmas Train!

I love how easily this tag came together and I can't wait to make more!

Easy Layers Tags - Day 2

October 26, 2021

Hi there!

Elena here with a set of tags, using the Easy Layers Tags die set:

I love making tags, especially Christmas tags! For this set, I've used the dies very simply, cutting the pieces out of white cardstock. I really wanted the images to pop!

I used images from Fall Picnic and Mr. & Mrs. Claus, as well as sentiments from Merry Circle Tags.

I used the scalloped piece from the Easy Layers Tags die set as snow on each tag. I also brought in the sled from Woodland Scene Builder. It worked perfectly to house the smaller supporting images.

I hope you like them! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Critters Week - Day 4

October 21, 2021

Hey everyone! Heather here.

I'm back with a fun Christmas Critters project for today.

To create my card, I ink blended a background and used two pieces of die-cut trimmed cardstock to create the top and bottom to my scene. From there, I stamped, die-cut and colored in my images.

Finally, I added gel pen and glossy accents. I also added a good dusting of white spritz too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas Critters Week - Day 3

October 20, 2021

Hello!

Amy here with a card using the adorable Christmas Critters.  I had a hard time choosing a critter to use..... they all are so cute!

I could not get over the striped hat on the penguin so RAINBOW stripes it was!!  The image was Copic colored and die cut using the coordinating dies.  White ink details were added with a pigment pen.  The striped hat inspired me to make this simple and add stripes for the background as well!  The rainbow strips were cut at 1/4" widths and added at an angle for something a bit different.  Once the image was adhered, the sentiment was selectively inked to split the sentiment on the angled strip of cardstock.  A few silver pearls were added as embellishments.

Christmas Critters Week - Day 2

Hi there!

Elena here, with a fun card featuring Christmas Critters:

Can I just say, as someone living right outside of Montreal, I am thrilled to have a french greeting to add to my collection? Necessary for all of those Christmas teacher cards!

I stamped out and colored 3 images from the set, sandwiching the adorable tiny bunny in between the bigger critters. Then, I created a shaker element to the card using the Waves Elle-ments die and some snowflake sequins.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

October 18, 2021

 Hello there!

It's Yainea here showcasing Christmas Critters stamps and dies. I love all the images included in this sets, these critters are so cute!

Thinking of gingham pattern reminds me of Christmas (and picnics! haha) so I wanted to use this paper from the AE paper collection and decided the whole design and color combo around it.

I had to add that little bunny, it's really adorable, I think he's my fave from the whole set!

I hope you feel inspired to create today! Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello friends,

Katie here with a card to share featuring the adorable Christmas Critters clear stamps. I loved all these sweet images so much that I couldn't decide which ones to feature on a card. My solution was to create a slimline card and use all the stamps!

To make this card, I first cut a piece of Distress Heavy Stock paper to 3.5 x 8.5. I blended the top portion on the panel with Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink. I stamped some of the round snowflakes and spattered the background with white ink to add a little more interest.

I covered the bottom portion of the panel with a piece of white card stock cut with one of the wavy borders from the Slimline Borders Elle-ments set. I stamped the animals, colored them with Copic markers and die cut the images using the coordinating dies.

I arranged all the critters onto the scene, added a few accessories and stamped the Happy Holidays sentiment onto the background.

Prosecco-Ho-Ho Week - Day 4

October 15, 2021

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Proseco-Ho-Ho stamps and dies.

To start my card I decided to make lots of cute little bottles. Embossing images on colored card stock is such a easy way to make images quickly. I embossed the image twice on each colored card stock, then trimmed the label out to mix up the labels on the bottles. Each bottle is unique but coordinates. Finally, I added a bow to the center bottle.

Next, I put together the background with patterned papers, ink splattered card stock, gold glittered paper and the sentiment strip. I adhered everything together then added a few embellishments and stamped details.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hey everyone! It's Heather here.

I'm so excited to share my project today. I had the best time playing with the new Prosecco-Ho-Ho stamp set and this card is so easy and so fun and perfect for the holidays!

To create my card, I first stamped a background on kraft cardstock using a slightly darker kraft ink. I love this look!

Then I stamped, colored and die cut the images. Finally I popped them up with dimensional adhesive and added them to my card base, along with a sentiment stamped on a banner.

So fun, right? Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
XOXO, Heather

Mr & Mrs Claus Week - Day 3

October 6, 2021

Hello!
Amy here with a slimline card using the most adorable Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Creating backgrounds can be challenging for me when creating a "scene".  I thought it would be fun to change things up from an "ink blended background" to a striped background using paper strips!

My card measures 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 and fits into a slimline envelope from the Paper Studio line from Hobby Lobby.  This stamp set was perfect for a large slimline card!  So back to the background and a fun technique.  Using two shades of blue cardstock, various widths of cardstock strips were cut.  These were adhered lightest to darkest onto a white notecard.  Over the striped background, a snow stencil from my stash was used with Broken China Distress Ink.  To keep the snowy detail going, Shimmer Spray was spritzed liberally over the card.  To finish the background, a snowy sentiment strip was die cut using the Slimline Borders Elle-ments.

All the images were Copic colored and die cut using the coordinating dies.  Creating the scene was so much fun with these images and the background I created!  Some images were adhered flat while others were adhered with foam adhesive.

Mr & Mrs Claus Week - Day 2

October 5, 2021

Hi there!

Elena here, with a couple of winter cards featuring Mr. & Mrs. Claus:

For this first card, I stamp and colored the images, added the figgy pudding to the back bike shelf, and giving the penguin a snowman-shaped balloon to hold! I set the images onto a kraft backdrop, curved the ho-ho-ho greeting to fit around Santa's hat, and added a snowy background with white enamel.

I added snowy hills for them to bike through, and used some light grey copic markers to add shadowing under the bike. These kinds of little details add so much depth to the scene!

My next card features a night-time bike ride:

Because the slimline shape is longer, I could add more elements to the scene, including the bunny from Fall Picnic!

I gave the penguin a candy cane to hold, and borrowed a banner from A Head Above to trail behind the bike.

I hope you like the cards I made for you today - thanks for stopping by!
