Avery Elle October Release - Fanfare

 Hello!  Welcome to Avery Elle's October Release Week.  Over the next 3 days we will be featuring projects made by our AMAZING design team and showcasing our latest release.  We have 2 new stamp sets and 3 new colors of heavy card stock and grosgrain ribbon that will be available for purchase in our store, www.averyelle.com, on October 4th.  Don't forget to check the bottom of this post for our latest giveaway to celebrate the festivities.  Let's get started.

Today we are featuring a new 4" x 6" clear photopolymer stamp set called Fanfare that will retail for $15.  The border strip measures:  7/8" from tip to tip x 5.5"; The circle image measures:  1 5/8" radius; The cake stand measures: 1 1/4" x 2"; The Happy sentiment measures: 1 1/4" x 3/8"

There are many sentiment combinations that can be made with this set.  They include: Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday From Us, Happy Birthday To You, So Happy For You, Happy Everything, You Make Me Happy, Happy Anniversary

We are also releasing a beautiful red heavy card stock and coordinating 5/8" grosgrain ribbon in Cherry. Our premium heavy card stock comes from a mill in the United States that is known to be the best in the letterpress and graphic design industry.   8 1/2 x 11" sheets.  100 lb weight.  Acid Free / Chlorine Free

Our new mid-grey heavy card stock and coordinating 5/8" grosgrain ribbon in Fog is the perfect addition to our color line. If you have been looking for a beautiful grey, this is it!  8 1/2 x 11" sheets.  92 lb weight.  Acid Free / Chlorine Free

For this first card I used the border strip to stamp the fan background in a soft grey.  I stamped the cake stand and one layer of "cake" onto the coordinating die cut.  I stamped the sentiment, added some twine, and taped the layers onto the Fog card stock base.  I thought the small strip of New Moon card stock grounded the cake image nicely.

I stamped the same border strip to frame the center panel of this card in a bold red.  I wanted to show how you can create soft and bold designs using the same stamp.  I added the circle image and So Happy For You sentiment to finish off the card.  The ribbon and card stock base is our new color Cherry.  I love the color of this bright and cheery red.

I created these last two projects for a friend's birthday.  I slipped a small gift into a glassine bag and wrapped it with some patterned paper (Crate Paper) and Celery Grosgrain Ribbon. I was pleased how adding the simple circle image and Happy Birthday sentiment finished off the look.  I then created the card using the same patterned paper, Celery card stock and coordinating grosgrain ribbon.  I stamped the two-tiered cake image on the coordinating die cut and added the sentiment and bow image to finish the look.
