Caring Hearts Card Drive
Our friends Vera Yates and Jennifer McGuire are hosting their Caring Hearts Card Drive once again this year. The drive collects holiday themed cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes. Isn't this a terrific cause?! The card drive is going on until November 28th and there are a lot of prizes to be had too! You can check out all of the details here.
You should have hopped here from Vera Yates's blog. If not, you may want to go and start the hop there.
I decided that I wanted to create an ornament out of Nina Yang's Ornament Simply Tags ChristmasDies. I love the little ornament topper die!! I was so happy to realize that the image from our Merry & Bright clear stamps fit perfectly inside the large circle tag die. After adding some Cherry cardstock and fun patterned paper to the Whipped Cream card base I was finished. It is hard to tell from the picture, but there is such a pretty shimmer to the gold on this card. I love it!
Did you know that you can win prizes from some great companies (including Avery Elle!) just for participating in this hop? Vera will select random winners from comments left on the blogs in the hop, so the more blogs you comment on the higher your chance to win. Be sure to leave comments by midnight Tuesday, November 12 to be eligible for the prizes.
Ok, you are off to Kimberly Crawford next.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great day!
