Underwater Friends Week - Day 5

Hello everyone! Heather here.

Today I'm sharing a card using the new Underwater Friends stamp set.

To create my card, I first created a watercolored background and die cut using my Double Pierced Rectangles die to add some detail. Something about the sea always makes me breakout my watercolors!

Then, I stamped and colored in all of the images, die cut them out and popped them up on dimensional foam. Finally I added gel pen accent and a heat embossed sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Underwater Friends Week - Day 4

Hi Everyone! Ashley here, sharing Underwater Friends. This set has so many images that are packed full of fun! Let's take a look...

I started by stamping, die cutting and coloring several images from the Underwater Friends stamp set. I even die cut some of the seaweed from felt! Next, I used the Underwater Background Builder dies to mask and ink the background. Do you also see the little fish on the pink side panel? I finished the card with a sentiment from the set and added a little detail with the Wonky Stitches Die.

Underwater Friends Week - Day 1

Hello there.  Caryn here today sharing a couple of cards and a wee video featuring the cute-as-can-be stamp set Underwater Friends.  I love to reach for the Waves die whenever I make a sea themed card - it makes the perfect backdrop!

I ended up making two cards along a similar vein and both used the die cut of the Waves die as a stencil to create a watery ink-blended background.  Before removing the stencil I spritzed with a little white paint to give the illusion of bubbles and set them aside to dry.

Meanwhile I stamped and die cut my images.  I coloured with Copics and then fixed them to my card front.

I added some glittery highlights to the images and finished with a simple sentiment in black

Loads Of Hello Week - Day 5

Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to share Loads of Hello stamps and dies!

I have two cards to share today using the same offset shadow technique. First, let's look at the card using only one word die. I wanted to keep it simple to show just how beautiful these dies shine on their own.

I started by die cutting the word "hi" in to white card stock. Next, I placed blue card stock behind the white panel. Then, I die cut a 4 inch circle and the word "hi". This card stock was colored with Distress Oxide ink. Finally, I placed the circle on top of the white panel and placed it slightly down and to the left. This creates a fun white shadow effect.

Next, lets look at a card using the Loads of Hello dies AND stamps.

This card is the same basic concept expect the sentiment "hello" is stamped. The trick is to stamp "hello" on a small piece of card stock to line up behind the die cut circle. It looks like "hello" is stamped on the card base but it's not. Keeping the sentiment on a separate piece of card stock makes it easier to line all the layers up. On this card, I added more stamped images and layers using the Peek a Boo Flight stamp set and a critter from Peek a Boo Pals: Camp Wanna Stamp.

Loads of Hello Week - Day 4

Hello Everyone! It's Heather here.

I'm here with a card using the new Loads of Hello stamp and die set.

For my card, I heat embossed and die cut the amazing hello stamp with gold embossing powder.

Then, I created my card base with the Rainbow Builder stamp set. I had so much fun creating my own paper and then I added heat embossed stars that match the sentiment. I popped the sentiment up on foam and added some gold string behind.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Have a great one!
XOXO,

Heather

Loads Of Hello Week - Day 3

Hello!  Amy here with a bright sunshiny card amidst all the winter and subzero temps here in Kansas!

I've used the Rainbow Builder stamps along with a bold sentiment from Loads of Hello.  It's no secret that rainbows bring happiness to many.  So sending this card will sure to bring a smile to someone's face!

The rainbow was stamped in traditional rainbow colors and added to a white die cut background called Ray Elle-ments.  I love the patterned area to this rainbow!  A smiling sun, from Sunshine, was added with foam adhesive.  To finish, the bold HELLO from Loads of Hello was added along with the smaller label sentiment 'sunshine'.

Loads Of Hello Week - Day 1

Hello friends,

Katie here with a card and technique to share with you featuring the Loads of Hello stamp set. Loads of Hello is such a great set and the main sentiments are a substantial size and easily command attention on a card.

One of my favorite techniques for sets with big and bold sentiments is to substitute an image for a letter.

For this technique, I selected the "hello" sentiment. I stamped and die cut 'hello" and cut off the "o" and replaced it with the sun image from the Sunshine stamp set.

To reinforce the sunshine vibe, I added the "sunshine" text block from the Loads of Hello set. I created the background using the Oval Burst Elle-ments die and the Cloud Mat Elle-ments die. I backed the oval with a gradient blue piece of patterned paper from the Spring Collection paper pad. I also added a couple clouds I had previously cut using the Cloud Mat die.

Once everything was adhered into place, I added a few clear sequins as a finishing touch.

I hope this idea inspires you to look at new ways to combine your sentiments and images! Thanks for stopping by!

A Head Above Week - Day 5

Hi Friends! Ashley here today sharing A Head Above

This is a darling set. The animals are just the best! To create my cards I stamped, die cut and colored the elephant, giraffe and banner. I stamped several stars on the card base and added a blue card stock mat with clouds from Grand Photo Mat Die. Then, I heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip of card stock. The clouds and banner are also from Grand Photo Mat Die.

I assembled all of the pieces to complete the card. Thanks for stopping by! This is such a fun set and I can't wait to see what you create!

A Head Above Week - Day 4

Hi there!

Elena here, with a card featuring a set from our newest release, A Head Above.

I love a good birthday set, and this one is so fun to play with! I designed it so that all of the animals are bringing the party to the sweet giraffe. His pose is a bit shy, no? I love him. I tried to give each animal their own little quirky personality. The elephant holding the giant present under his trunk cracks me up.

To bring this card to life, I stamped and die-cut all of the pieces, and colored them with copic markers. I then set the images aside and did some ink-blending on the base layer. I saturated the color at the bottom and blended it to white near the top. I then splattered both blue and white paint on top so add extra interest to that layer.

The little strip of patterned paper at the bottom is from The Holiday Collection Paper Pad, and acts to ground all of the animals.

I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

A Head Above Week - Day 3

Hi!
Amy here with a bright BIRTHDAY card for you using one of the newest sets......A Head Above.

I started with ink blending Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Tumbled Glass, and Broken China Distress Inks over a white panel leaving white space in between the colors.  This panel was die cut using the Double Pierced Rectangles Elle-ments.  Using this same die set, this same size rectangle and one bigger was IMPRESSED into a white note card.  I love the texture it adds!

The ink blended panel was stamped with the Happy Birthday sentiment from A Head Above at the bottom.  The adorable images were all Copic colored, die cut and added with foam adhesive to the scene.  For a pop of black accents, the solid mini start from the set was stamped a few times into the scene.
