Christmas Mice and Peek-A-Boo Holiday Tag Toppers With Amy

Hello!

Amy here with a TWOfer today!

This past release was fantastic and these two sets were at the top of my favorite list!

Seriously, how cute are these Christmas Mice with their huge ears?  Merry Christmouse!  I thought it would be fun to create a shaker with these mice.  Using the Double Pierced Rectangle Elle-ments, I created a frame using the two largest dies.  I added my frame with foam adhesive over a Worn Lipstick Distress Ink blended background that was filled with chunky glitter.  The festive little mice were Copic colored, die cut, and added to the front of the frame with foam adhesive.  To the corners of the frame, a few holly, from Joyeux Narwhal, were added.

My second card uses the very popular Peek-A-Boo critters but this time in paper pieced form!  I put together the moose and added rainbow holiday bulbs on the antlers.  The background was created using the snowflake stamps from the Holiday Circle Tags.  The snowflakes were white heat embossed and using emboss resist, the Salty Ocean Distress Ink was blended over the top.  Using Salty Ocean Distress Ink, the ink was blended over the bottom of the Happy Holidays die.

The sentiment die was added over the heat embossed background.  The moose was added over the top of the "Y" in Happy.  To finish, a few white details were added to the bulbs and moose.

Nordic Patterns With Amy

Hello!  Amy here with some Nordic Pattern inspiration.
This set is so much fun because it lends itself to so many color and pattern combinations.  I, however, went with a monochromatic look with these snowflakes!

I fell in love with this large snowflake pattern from the set and decided to stamp an entire panel using a navy pigment ink.  Because I wanted my stamped panel to be the star of the show, I trimmed it down to 3 1/2" x 5" for a nice chunky border.  This panel was backed with foam adhesive and added to a navy panel of cardstock.

The sentiment, from Jingle, was stamped in the same navy ink, hand trimmed out, and added to the card with foam adhesive.  A supporting sentiment was white heat embossed onto a navy cardstock strip and tucked underneath the Joy sentiment.  I couldn't let this go without adding in some Midnight gems over the card!

Nordic Patterns With Heather

Hello hello! It's Heather here and I've got a fun project for you using the new Nordic Patterns stamp set.

To create my card, I decided to use the Nordic Pattern stamp set to create a custom base. Then, I stamped and die cut the moose from Polar Peek a Boo Pals and nested him behind the super fun Happy Holidays die

I love how the patterned background really makes it all pop!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me. Have a great one!

Christmas Mice with Elena

Hi there!

Elena here with a set of tags featuring Christmas Mice, a set from our current release:

I usually give out tins of homemade cookies to neighbors and teachers, but I guess with Covid being what it is, I'll have to just put these on some *gasp* boxed chocolates or something. bah.

Either way, these tags will make the gifts extra special. I just love the mouse with his huge ears! I kept things extra girly with a pink, aqua and red color scheme. I layered the images onto a Holiday Circle Tag, and added a sentiment from the previously-released Seasonal Simple Sentiments set. To finish things off, I added red-and-white holiday twine.

I hope you like them! Thanks for stopping by!

O Tiny Tree with Ashley

Hi Everyone! Ashley here today sharing a few holiday cards! First up, O Tiny Tree!

O Tiny Tree is such a sweet detailed set. It really allows you to create a customized scene with these friendly critters. I stamped, die cut and colored all of the pieces I wanted to use.

Next, I water colored a small grey background and adhered all of the pieces on my card base. Then I embossed the sentiment and mounted the card. TIP: Use colored card bases. It's a fun, easy twist!

The next card using several stamp and die sets. Its so fun to mix them up! When I saw the Nordic Patterns stamp set I couldn't help but think of fun sweaters and gloves. This lead me to die cut the gloves from Cookie Cutters and make my own custom gloves! I LOVE them!

I added stamps from Peek a Boo Christmas Train and tucked them in to the gloves. The glitter adds the perfect amount of bling and the red card base adds more color.

Two Cute Projects By Guest Designer Noga

We are excited to have guest designer Noga here on the blog today.  Check out her cute projects!

Hi crafty friends!

It's Noga here today and I am so excited to share with you a Christmas project showcasing the super adorable O Tiny Tree and Winter Friends stamps and dies.
I really enjoyed creating this slimline card and shaker tag :)

To make this card I took a slimline panel of bristol smooth cardstock. I used  tumbled glass distress oxide ink to blend a sky and used the new White Ink Spray to create a snow look on it.
The sweet images were colored with copic markers and were glued with foam tape for dimension.
I added Cherry Hemp Twine for a final touch.

To make the shaker tag I used patterned paper from the Holiday Collection and die cut it using the new Holiday Circle Tags Elle-Ments. The cute image was colored with copic markers and I filled the shaker with white flakes and glued the image using nuvo crystal glaze.
I added Cherry Hemp Twine for a final touch.

I hope you enjoy this project I created and feel inspired to create some fun Christmas projects!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a great week!

O Tiny Tree with Elena

Hi there!

Elena here with 3 cute cards featuring a stamp set from our newest release, O Tiny Tree.

First up, a sweet little scene, complete with a birdy helper:

I did some ink blending on the background layer, giving it a soft blue and purple sky, and then just built the scene. The bird and present that I used here are from Woodland Scene Builder.

My second card features the reindeer from the set:

I again did some ink blending on the background layer, this time in an aqua blue, and created a woodland scene using a mix of images from our current sets. The large fa-la-la greeting is from the Jingle set, and I love how it looks in a bright red! To finish things off I went a little crazy adding snow with my white enamel.

For my 3rd set, I created something as cozy as a hand-knit sweater:

I stamped the strips from Nordic Patterns and did some ink blending on top so it was super subtle. It made the perfect backdrop from these 2 friends to exchange gifts! A little heart and a sentiment strip finish off this card.

I hope you like what I created for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Circle Tags & Christmas Cookies with Ashley

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing some fun holiday stamps and dies that will sure to become favorites!

I've had so much fun creating for the holidays lately. I started this tag set with Holiday Circle Tags. I wanted to explore different styles of tags so I made three different shapes. The penguin is dressed up with a scarf from Peek a Boo Holiday Tag Dies and then finished with die cuts from Holiday Circle Tag Dies

The snowman is again dressed up with a scarf and placed on a tag from Peek a Boo Tag Dies. The Santa is adhered to a hand cut tag base with the die cuts from Happy Holidays Dies and Holiday Circle Tag Dies.

Next, I had a sweet card using Christmas Cookies! I embossed several cookies and arranged them on my card. Then I stamped the sentiment strip.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Cookies With Katie

Hello!

Katie here with a card to share with you featuring the new Christmas Cookies stamp set.  While I am not much of a holiday baker or a baker in general, I could play with this set of adorable cookies all day! I came up with a technique that makes these crafty cookies look like the real thing. The best part is there's no mixing bowls or baking sheets to clean afterwards.

First, I inked up the stamp with Veramark, followed by ink. I used Avery Elle pigment ink.

Next I sprinkled the stamped image with clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.

I die cut the stamped image with the coordinating Elle-ments die. I used a sponge blender to ink the edges of the image with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

As a finishing touch, I added Nuvo Drop ornaments. You could also use sequins or pom-poms to embellish the cookies.

I repeated this technique for each of the cookies and arranged them onto a panel that I cut with the scallop from the Dotted Borders Elle-ments set.

I stamped the sentiment in black ink and a few of the candies with Strawberry pigment ink. I added a few flat sequins as a finishing touch.

Adorable Holiday Tags with Caryn Davies!

Hey there, Caryn here today with some quick and easy holiday tag ideas using some of the fabulous new products in the latest Avery Elle release.

I used the Holiday Circle Tags and the Christmas Cookies stamps and dies to create 4 tags with different looks for your gift giving this Christmas.  I created a short video showing how they came together:

The first tags feature images from the Holiday Circle Tags set.  I simply stamped and coloured them with Copics and the used the Holiday Paper Pad as the background .

I wanted a more rustic look for the other tags and used Kraft card with white embossing to give a festive look to my cookies.

Rustic Wreath Week - Day 5

Peace, Love, & Joy as this season approaches.

Amy here today sharing a card/tag combo using the Rustic Wreath stamps.

Several of the groupings of flowers were stamped and Copic colored.  Once done, the images from Rustic Wreath were spritzed with Clear Shimmer Spray and die cut.  The images were arranged over a white trimmed panel that was scored on the sides at 1/4" for texture.  The sentiment was stamped front and center.  Tiny red detail with a Copic was done to the letters.  This panel was added to a note card layered with pattern paper from the Holiday Collection 6x6 Paper Pack.  The holiday spray images were added above and below the sentiment with foam adhesive.

I thought it would be fun to create a matching tag using the same products!  Using the Holiday Circle Tags Elle-ments, the various layers were die cut and layered together with foam adhesive.  The sentiment was stamped and Copic colored the same way as the card.  After adding one of the small sprays of flowers, some Cherry Bakers Twine was added to the top.

Rustic Wreath & Woodland Scene Builder Week - Day 4

Hello everyone!
It's Heather here and I'm back with TWO projects today! Yay for a fun-filled post!

First up, Rustic Wreath. When I first drew these stamps I had so many ideas for them - but mostly glorious tags absolutely stuck out to me. I just could picture them always!

For these, I stamped the die cut the upper layer of the wreath and then I ended up die cutting the bottom layer to match. I love this technique!

So pretty, right?

Next, I played with Woodland Scene Builder

For this card, I stamped the main image and then added accents as well as die cut images for the focal point from Winter Friends

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

XO,
Heather
