Merry Christmas Eve!

Happy Holidays
and best wishes for a fantastic New Year
from all of us at Avery Elle!

We will be on a break from now until January 2nd on the blog but be sure to check back then because we will be announcing the winner of our current guest designer challenge which ends January 1st.  Will it be you!?  You can check out the details here.

Today we have Chunyuan with these three cards she created using the circle of our new Pinked Dies set.

I love how festive this first card is.  That ampersand stamped on the pinked circle is such a great idea!

Using the Pinked circles to cut out and mat holiday images like Chunyuan did below is another fantastic idea!

I love the color scheme and how the white and red pop in this next card.  How cute is that twine? ;)

Kasia created this bold and graphic card using our Love Notes stamp set.  I love the fonts in this sentiment!  She created the accent banner and used one of the dies in our Simply Tags Love Notes Pocket Die to create the pretty edge on the bottom.   It is a great way to get even more use out of this die set.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. Have a great day!

Three cute cards!

Hello!  I hope that you are having a fantastic Monday.  I want to let you know that we will be closed this Wednesday, December 25th through Friday, December 27th, Tuesday, December 31st and Wednesday, January 1st so that we may spend time with our families during the holiday season.

Today we have Donna with this sweet card she made using our Simply Said Love stamp and coordinating die set.  I adore how she used the number images from our Save The Date stamp set to make it look like a giant postage stamp. The small petals from our Embellish It Flower Die make a perfect tiny flower accent.

Nina used our Avery's Alphas dies and stars from our Ornaments Simply Tags Christmas dies to create these next two cards.  I love the clean, modern and bold look of both!

Happy Friday!

Just a reminder that our December AEI♥U Challenge ends on January 1st.  We extended it a bit this month to accommodate the holidays. This isn't just any challenge.  The winner will be our guest designer for February.  How great is that?  For more details, click here.

I also thought that it would be fun to show a few projects that I saw this past week.

Did you see this cute photo card by our very own Chunyuan Wu?  I love how she combined our Simply Said: Love die and our Holiday Fill In The Blanks stamp set.  Brilliant!  Be sure to check out her post here for more photo cards.  I love them all!

Michelle Wooderson created these cute planners using sentiments from our Winter Wreath stamp set.  Be sure to check out Michelle's post here.  She has the cutest packaging for these that you won't want to miss.

Your Thursday Avery Elle Inspiration

Today we have Heather with this gorgeous card that she created using our Laurels and Avery's Alphas dies.  I love the contrast of the bold block letters with the soft Laurels set.  So modern and right up my alley! :)

JJ created this festive card using our Circle It and Count On It stamp sets.  The card is embossed in gold for the sentiment and glittery gold for the dots.  She stamped the larger border once and then used the small coordinating dot stamp to create more *falling* confetti like dots.  I love details like this.

Our guest designer, Kristen Foreman created this pretty card using the smaller dot images from our Circle It stamp set.  I love the random effect that she was able to create here.  Her photo background even matches the card!  Love that!!!

Tuesday Inspiration

Today we have Chunyuan with this card she created using our Thanks A Bunch and Laurels stamp sets as well as our Pinked Elle-ments dies. I love how she stamped on sticky backed canvas to create this textured look.

Kasia created this pretty card using our Simply Said: Love stamp and coordinating die.  There are so many different sentiment combinations in this set!  The black love die cut really pops against the patterned paper and is the main focus here.  I love the simplicity of it.

Inspiration for Monday

Hello!  I hope that you had a great weekend.  Today we have Donna Mikasa with this pretty card.  She stamped and embossed the sentiment from our Save The Date clear stamps onto the die cut mat from our Pinked dies.  See those flowers at the bottom?   Donna made them with circular pinked die and leaves from our Laurels Elle-ments dies.  Brilliant!

Nina Yang created this cute gift box using our Embellish It Flower and Pinked Elle-ments dies.  I love the the way she used these dies with vellum to create a soft look.

Inspiration from JJ & Heather

Today we have Heather Campbell with this sweet card she created using our new Pinked, Simply Said: Love, Bow Simply Tags Christmas, and Simply Tags: Love Notes Pocket dies.  Heather shows how great these look when used together.  Nina Yang has created some fantastic videos showing the various uses for the Simply Tags: Loves Notes Pocket die  - horizontal and vertical gift card holders, notches for gift cards, envelope embellishments -  Be sure to check out her posts here , here and here if you didn't catch them last week.

JJ Bolton created this next card using our new Avery's Alphas clear stamp set.  Did you know that these letters have a square base making them easy to line up with one another and stamp straight?  I love how JJ created this soft look by stamping onto vellum and coloring the letters in.  The sewn pocket of sequins is so fun and festive.

Save The Date & Birds of A Feather

Today we have Kasia with this fun Save The Date card.  I love that she stamped the sentiment, date and glasses onto vellum.  It allows the background she created using our Circle It stamp set to peek through while remaining the main focus.

Chunyuan combined our Let It Snow and Love Notes clear stamp sets to create this card.  I love the way she matted the little birds and Together sentiment with die cuts from our Pinked Elle-ments dies.  She shows how versatile they are.

Beautiful card. the white dots do look like lots of snowflakes coming down. The use of the vellum is great. You took a very pretty picture and added to it with the framing. Thanks for sharing.

Today we have Donna Mikasa with this fun and festive card she created using our Circle It clear stamp set.  I love how she stamped the smaller polka dot border on an angle.  The three small stars are a perfect touch.

Nina Yang created this card using our Thanks A Bunch stamp set.  I love that she created the base of the bouquet out of a doily.  What a clever idea.  The little tag peeking out from behind the flowers is too cute.

Mint To Be Heavy Card Stock & 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon

Let's get to the hop shall we?  I created this first card using our new Avery's Alphas stamps and dies.  I ran the dies through my machine first and then stamped the outline of the letters onto them in a pretty gray ink.  I love how I can create my own custom letters by stamping and die cutting onto striped patterned paper.  I can imagine them in polka dots, ombre patterns....I can't wait to try it!  After adding some fun washi tape and hearts from our Bow Simply Tags: Christmas Elle-ments dies I mounted the panel onto our Cherry Heavy Card Stock.  I love the way it turned out!

I created this next card using our Circle It Stamp Set.  To create this look, I stamped the large border once onto an A2 card panel using Delicata ink.  The border is slightly larger than an A2 size which allows you to stamp over the edges to give a finished look.  I rotated the panel 180 degrees and stamped the same border image again, slightly overlapping the first stamped image.  After that I just stamped the Celebrate sentiment.  I only stamped three times on this card.  It was SO easy and I LOVE the full yet random look of the dots.   I mounted the panel to our New Moon Card Stock and was finished.

Well you are off to hop to Chunyuan next.  I hope you enjoy all the inspiration the Design Team has for you.  It is amazing!
